Myles dropped in to entertain us, and what a treat it was — the residents absolutely loved the singing! We’ve had a wonderfully busy time baking (with some delicious butter biscuits), getting our hands dirty in the greenhouse, and enjoying strolls around the garden. There was even time for a cheeky tipple at the Tickford Abbey Arms! To top it all off, we’ve been sharing plenty of laughs over games of Scrabble and cards — fun all around!😁🌸⚘️🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️

We’ve been having a wonderful time here at Tickford Abbey, keeping busy and making lots of happy memories! From getting creative with artwork and scrapbooking our favourite photos, to staying active with exercise and enjoying lovely walks, there’s always something to smile about. We’ve also been coming together for church services, having a laugh over games of bingo, getting our hands dirty in the garden, and sharing plenty of fun playing dominoes. It’s been a great time full of joy, friendship, and togetherness!😁🌷

Residents have had a lovely week so far with lots of activities to keep them busy. From card games to pom pom exercises, Yesterday they enjoyed the sunshine together and got busy planting in the garden.

Our residents enjoyed a busy and exciting weekend! From indulging in lots of delicious food to getting creative with Easter decorations, there was something for everyone. We also came together for a lovely church service and spent time gardening—making the most of the fresh spring air. A truly joyful and fulfilling few days! 🌸🐣

We’ve had a wonderfully busy time here at Tickford. Our days have been filled with a variety of enjoyable activities, including a “Stroll and Roll” in the garden, games of Scrabble, and getting creative while making Easter cards. We were also delighted to receive Holy Communion from the ladies at the church—thank you for your kindness and support.

We’ve spent time reading books shared by our fantastic volunteer, Tim, and, most importantly, enjoying plenty of fun and laughter together.🙏🎨🌸🪻

Its been a busy week at Tickford Abbey we have done baking, arts and crafts, sung songs and done exercise using pom poms. We have had a talk on flowers by our lovey volunteer Judith we have also enjoyed book club we are currently reading great expectations by Charles Dickens chosen by the residents.

We had a busy weekend of activities. Residents came together for our weekly game of Bingo on Saturday morning and in the afternoon we wrote a poem about spring time at tickford abbey for world poetry day. Some residents had their nails painted during one to ones. Sunday we enjoyed a lovely church service run by one of our residents then we came together Sunday afternoon to play word games and had a wonderful social time together.

What a lovely week it’s been! The sun has been shining, and we’ve had so much fun celebrating St Patrick’s Day—making Irish soda bread, enjoying Irish music, and even hosting a quiz. We’ve also had fascinating space talks, got creative with arts and crafts, and made the most of the sunshine with some beautiful walks. A truly wonderful week all around!👨‍🍳👩‍🍳⚾️🏀⚽️🇮🇪👨‍🦽🚶‍♂️☀️🪐

Residents enjoyed a lovely Mother's day weekend baking on Saturday afternoon followed by ladies afternoon tea on Sunday.

Residents enjoyed a visit from the little and wise play group this morning. There were smiles all round. Lots of interaction and socialising.

Residents took part in a variety of activities including French lessons, a parachute game, card games such as UNO, ball games, and bingo. The activities encouraged participation, social interaction, and enjoyment among the residents.😁🇨🇵

Residents have enjoyed some engaging activities so far this week including our monthly Holy Communion Service, Walks in the garden looking after our first batch of seeds and baking club.
