We all love some evidence based advice, and here is another epiphany. Apparently, sweetened drinks are not good for us...and artificially sweetened ones are even worse, but a fantastic dietary choice if you want to explore the delights of non alcoholic fatty liver disease.
Both sugar-sweetened and diet drinks raise the risk for metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease, with artificial sweeteners linked to an even greater risk.
