Sadly passed away on 11th February 2026 aged 40 years.

Luke was truly the life and soul of the party, bringing laughter, warmth and energy wherever he went. He will be forever loved and deeply missed - always 40, forever young in our hearts.

Devoted husband to Rachel, much loved son to Ruth and the late Tony, caring brother to Abbie and Lee, and proud and loving dad to Tia.

A celebration of Luke's life will be held on Friday 13th March at 1pm at Gwent Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu made payable to the RNLI & Mental Health Matters Wales may be sent c/o Tovey Bros, 9-11 Cardiff Road, Newport, NP20 2EH.

Before Christmas, Emily looked after Tracy and her family when she lost her dad. A few weeks later, Tracy then also lost her mum.

Supporting a family through one loss is a privilege but looking after a family after two, in very quick succession is something that stays with you.

Today, Emily received an email from Tracy. No question or request. Just a simple hello out of kindness, because Tracy wanted to.

Funeral arranging isn’t just about the paperwork, liaising and logistics, or even the day itself. We are there for the most vulnerable part of a family’s life. We may begin as strangers but we don’t part that way. Caring doesn’t end when the service does.
