From September 2025, if you are a patient within our Maternity or Neonatal Services and we have your mobile number on file, you may receive a text message with a link to a survey. These surveys are specific to your maternity or neonatal care and will be sent at certain points during pregnancy, after birth and if your baby has needed to be cared for within our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

If you are at the start of your pregnancy journey, you may be sent up to five surveys. Please note that each survey is different and asks questions specifically about your care at that time.

We want to hear about your experience of maternity and neonatal care! Your feedback is anonymous and will help us learn and improve.

While you're on-site, you can still share your thoughts by speaking to a member of staff or accessing our generic People’s Experience Survey via the feedback poster on display.

If you have any questions, need support, or would like to opt out of receiving these texts, please contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS):

We’ve had such a good response to our summer catch up immunisation clinics we’ve added some additional clinic space to the booking page.

The clinics are for young people aged 12 – 16 (those who were in year 8 - 11 this academic year) who missed having any of the below immunisations:

• Human Papilloma Virus (HPV)
• 3-in-1 teenage booster
• MenACWY

The clinics are also available to any young people aged 12 - 16 who are educated other than at school. If your child is over 4 (attended reception this academic year) and is outstanding their MMR vaccine they can also receive this at these clinics.

👶🛡️ Protect your child from serious illness - make sure they’ve had their MMR vaccine.

The MMR vaccine is the safest and most effective way to protect children against measles, mumps and rubella. These diseases can spread rapidly and could lead to serious complications.

Since the MMR vaccine was introduced in 1988, these illnesses have become rare thanks to this vaccine, but outbreaks still happen when not enough children are vaccinated.
