We had the privilege of looking after the Erskine family and baby Elijah earlier this year.

What an incredibly strong couple Matthew and Cerys are, and to turn their grief into something that will help other families like theirs is so incredibly brave. We wish them all the luck in the world in their fundraising, and look forward to making a donation 🩵💚

Very saddened to hear of the passing of Ozzy Osbourne, only a few weeks after his Back to the Beginning concert in his hometown, Birmingham. He finished where he began, and that is a beautiful thing. RIP Ozzy, thank you for the music 🖤

Important information from our friends at Gwent Crematorium

Essential refurbishment work will take place over the summer at Gwent Crematorium.

The work will include:

• a full refurbishment of the chapel
• installation of a new cremator
• full roof covering replacement, and installation of solar panels

To facilitate this work, there will be temporary closures, and service adjustments over the summer.

The crematorium will be fully closed for all services between 7-20 July.

From 21 July – 17 August, service adjustments will be in place:

• Thursdays and Fridays – full services will take place as normal

• Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays – we will only be holding direct, unattended cremation services

For inquiries or assistance with bookings, please contact the crematorium team on 01633 839880.

The garden of remembrance, and book of remembrance, will remain open to the public during these works.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we make these necessary improvements.
