📣 AI is reshaping work.
For some time, I held back from writing about its impact on jobs. I didn’t want to speculate. I wanted direct experience.
So I built my own multi-user, enterprise-grade RAG system.
The productivity gains were real. Dramatic.
💡 But here’s what became clear:
AI does not remove the need for human judgment, governance, architectural thinking, or systems knowledge. It amplifies them.
🧻 It can generate vast amounts of output. Without oversight, that output can be brittle, insecure, or unfit for purpose.
And the disruption isn’t just technical.
It’s emotional. Psychological. Identity-level.
Fear of obsolescence coupled with the pressure to keep up and the erosion of deep work.
📫 This week’s newsletter explores:
• AI as augmentation and replacement
• Why governance matters more, not less
• The human toll of acceleration
• Why releasing old narratives may be necessary for moving forward
If AI is reshaping the terrain, the question becomes: how do we meet it?
