Majorca you were a blast, so hot and sunny ☀️😎

Fun splashing by the pool, taking boat trips and horse riding in the mountains, late nights and slow mornings oh and I did manage a few gym workouts too 😍

Don't be fooled by social media though we had some tough times, kids argued, tempers flared, kids didn't always agree with our plans, kids didn't always want to eat what we wanted (that's where the buffet came in handy!), we had one day where our little man wasn't feeling so great and yes we still did some washing! 🤷‍♀️

It was a lovely break and the weather makes things a whole lot easier, the hotel was lovely and we got to try the few Spanish words I had learnt from a year of Duo Lingo!(I think it will take me years before I am fluent!) 🙈🤷‍♀️

Back to rainy Wales and a wet school run this morning, what a come down! 😂😭

Fun fact - our paddling pool is still up in the back garden as we couldn't empty it in time before we left, it's now looking rather manky 🙈🤢

They watch you eat, they see how you dress, they watch your behaviour, they see how you treat yourself, often becoming a mini you in the process. 🧑‍🧒

Next time you are standing in front of the mirror wishing you were thinner, next time you talk about how much you hate your bum/tummy/legs etc remember who may be listening. Next time you choose not to eat all day then binge on chocolate, the next time you choose to scroll on your phone instead of going to the gym - stop and ask, what example am I setting for them? 🛑

It's important to be the example, they do as you do NOT as you say. It's one of the biggest reasons why I decided to make changes to my lifestyle - my eating habits and at times my lifestyle just weren't promoting the healthy habits I wanted to promote to my children. 🎉

You don’t need more information, you already know what to do.

-Drink more water.

So why isn’t it happening?

Because knowledge isn’t the problem, the problem is the gap between knowing and doing.

That’s where coaching comes in.

It’s not about telling you what to do, it’s about helping you understand why you’re not doing it.

The self-sabotage, the limiting beliefs, the patterns you keep repeating without even realising.

There’s a reason you keep “starting again on Monday" and it’s not because you lack discipline.

It’s because you’ve been taught to approach food from a place of restriction, guilt, and all-or-nothing thinking.

You’re either “being good” or you’ve “fallen off track”

So what happens?
You restrict - you crave - you give in - you feel frustrated - you start again - and the cycle continues.

Food can make you feel like utter crap, you love it whilst you are eating it, you hate the way you feel afterwards.😔

You want to eat vegetables, you want to be able to avoid your vices..... chocolate, crisps, sweets, cakes, even bread - but you just can't 🤷‍♀️

That little voice in your head is always saying 'go on treat yourself', 'go on, have one more' but it's never just one more, it's never a treat really because after you eat it you feel like utter crap. You feel bloated, you want to fall asleep and your clothes are gradually getting tighter and tighter 🙈

You have tried willpower, the cabbage diet, slimming world, shakes, pills, potions, you have exercised until your feet hurt but nothing seems to keep the weight off or stop those cravings. 😐

That's where hypnotherapy can be a huge help, changing the way your subconscious mind thinks about food is a huge, positive step in switching to a healthier lifestyle overall.

One thing I’ve learned through my own journey is that lasting change becomes much easier when you stop fighting yourself all the time.

For years I thought I needed more discipline, stricter rules, more motivation but underneath it all I was overwhelmed, emotionally drained, constantly stressed, people pleasing and disconnected from my own needs.

Food became comfort, reward and emotional relief, now I understand myself completely differently.

That’s why my work focuses so much on emotional awareness, nervous system healing
mindset, realistic healthy habits and self-worth because women deserve support that actually works in real life 💛

I honestly think one of the hardest parts of healthy living as a mum is the CONSTANT decision making:

“What’s for dinner?”
“Have the kids eaten enough?”
“What snacks do we need?”
“What can I eat quickly?”
“Why is everyone suddenly hungry again?” 😂

A year and a half ago, sugar had far more control over me than I’d like to admit - stress, overwhelm and emotional exhaustion would often send me searching for comfort through food.

Now? My relationship with food feels completely different, not because I became perfect, not because I suddenly developed endless motivation but because I understood my emotional triggers, changed my mindset, supported my nervous system, created realistic habits and stopped relying on shame.

That transformation is exactly why I’m so passionate about helping other women now because I know how hopeless those cycles can feel, but I also know how possible real long-term change can be 💛
