I see it differently.

It's how you:

👉 Maintain independence
👉 Manage stress
👉 Stay capable as you get older

Today reminded me why I do what I do.

I had the privilege of spending the day with 100 women from the Islamic community from London and the South East, walking a 10km route out to The Needles in support of Islamic Help.

A route I know well.
Views I’ve seen countless times.
But today felt completely different.

There’s something special about seeing the Island through someone else’s eyes; especially when it’s filled with laughter, encouragement, shared snacks (so many snacks!), and that quiet determination to keep going, step by step.

For many, this wasn’t just a walk.
It was a challenge. A first. A day out of routine - boarding a coach in the early hours and travelling into the dawn for a shared adventure.
And they absolutely smashed it.

This is what movement should feel like:
✔ Inclusive
✔ Supportive
✔ Purposeful
✔ Joyful

No pressure. No comparison. Just people moving together and feeling better for it.

And honestly? Although the Island wasn’t at its best today, it didn’t matter.

Most women I speak to don't lack motivation or knowledge.

They're just overwhelmed.

Avoid carbs. Increase protein. Lift weights. Improve cardio. Sleep more. Wake early. Drink water. Journal.

It's a lot.

That's why I focus on Five Heathy Habits.

Not everything, Just what actually makes a difference to you.
