We are delighted to be now offering free demonstrations of the fantastic RayBan Meta glasses. These glasses can describe your surroundings, tell you what you are holding, read text, make and receive phone calls, text message and WhatsApp messages. All this and more HANDS FREE. These glasses can make a real difference to a sight impaired person.
Prices start at £330 for non prescription or £545 single vision. (Other lens options available at additional cost)

Preparing for the 3G network switch off 📲📶

The UK's mobile networks are completing their 3G shutdown this year, with O2 being the final provider to switch off in 2025. Vodafone, EE, and Three have already completed their transitions.

Will you be affected?
If you have a smartphone from 2013 or later, you're likely fine - these devices support 4G. However, older phones that only work on 3G will lose mobile data services.
Quick compatibility check:
• iPhone 5 or newer = you're good to go
• Android users: Check Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile Network
• If in doubt, find out where to get further information

Need help?
Network providers offer dedicated support for vulnerable individuals who may be affected by the changes. Contact the provider if the people you support require assistance.

We provide low vision aids and assessments to those with reduced vision. Our services are FREE of charge as we are NHS funded. What's more we visit all our patients in there own home. And yes, it's all free of charge.

Its been a while since we posted, because we have been so busy helping people in South East Wales.
We are pleased to advise we are accepting referrals again.
Referrals for to our NHS funded Low Vision Clinic can be direct from the patient or via any health or social care worker or 3rd sector. Call, message, WhatsApp or email us and we will be happy to help
