Every year on the last day of February, awareness is raised for all babies, children, youngsters and adults diagnosed with a rare condition

At morrello, and especially our paediatric branch, morrello mini, we support several families who are affected by a rare condition.
In recent years, genetic testing has ensured that many children have received the correct diagnosis, enabling the people around them to support them in the best way possible.

Our paediatric therapists work with many babies and children with a variety of syndromes as well as spinal muscular dystrophy.

They are all inspirational and we want them and their families to know that we see them 💜

There are many ways ScarWork can help how you feel physically and emotionally about your scar. It's a light gentle touch therapy given in a holistic way, treating every person as an individual with their own specific needs.

Remember to register your interest before the deadline!

Are you unsure how to look after your scar from recent surgery? Were you told to massage it but don't really know how?

Do you wonder if a scar you've had for a long time is "normal" or if something could be done to help with how it looks or feels?

If you're saying yes to either of these questions this workshop is for you.

The aim of the workshop is to show everyone that there are ways to improve how your scar might look and feel. Pain, numbness, itching, lumpy areas can all be reduced, range of movement can be increased and eased. I’ll show you what I can offer during a ScarWork appointment and give you some tips to try yourself at home. In a small group I hope everyone can feel comfortable to ask questions and all of us learn from each other. We can also enjoy some cake together too!

Techniques will be practised on arms so you won't have to expose your scar.
