A new Island initiative is helping bring generations closer by creating shared living arrangements that offer both practical support and meaningful companionship. 🏘️

Older Islanders with a spare room can now be matched with a carefully vetted younger person who offers around 10 hours a week of help with everyday tasks, plus friendly company. In return, the Sharer gets affordable accommodation during a time of rising living costs. 💛

Homeshare isn’t care or a rental arrangement - it’s a safe, supportive way to ease loneliness, boost independence and bring generations together.

The scheme is delivered locally by Two Generations CIC, who provide DBS checks, home visits and ongoing support for every match.

Interested in taking part as a Householder or a Sharer? Find out more online: https://ow.ly/k5mA50YINFY, email contact@twogenerations.co.uk, or call 03333 44 77 38.
