Hotel - Restaurant and Bar are looking for a Night Porter to cover 4 nights on 4 nights off at their highly regarded hotel in Seaview.

The Seaview Hotel is an island institution. Set in the heart of the picturesque sailing village it has become a destination for travellers desiring friendly, efficient service and great food.

As Night Porter your role will be to ensure a professional and consistent level of service throughout the night. You will be responsible for the Hotel Systems, completing security checks at hourly intervals and running a smooth front desk operation.

Shifts are 11pm - 7am on a rota basis four nights on four nights off.

Your overnight operational duties will involve handling all guest concerns and assisting with a range of general duties. You will also be responsible for Health, Fire and Safety, ensuring the safety and security of all guests and property.

The ideal person for this role will have relevant experience within a similar position

's Mechanical are looking for an experienced gas engineer / plumber to work on domestic breakdowns and servicing & maintenance.

This is a full time employed position with an immediate start preferable.

Job responsibilities will primarily include boiler, central heating and hot water cylinder servicing, repairs & installations, as well as domestic / light commercial plumbing installations.

Applicants should have the following qualifications and be competent in the following areas:

- CCN1 Core domestic gas.
- CENWAT1 boiler and water heaters.
- CKR1 Domestic gas cooking appliances.
- Unvented Domestic Hot Water systems UHWSS / UDHW
- Fully qualified and experienced in domestic / light commercial plumbing.
- LPG, Oil and commercial gas qualifications are desirable but not essential.

The successful applicant will need to hold a full driving licence.

Company vehicle & mobile phone will be provided.

Salary dependant on experience.

Amazon World Zoo Park is recruiting a Softplay Supervisor to support the overall running of Monkey Madness Soft Play at Amazon World Zoo Park. You’ll work closely with the Zoo management team to ensure exceptional customer experience, smooth operations and a motivated team.

What you'll be doing-
- Supporting Zoo management with the day to day running of the Soft play and surrounding play areas - Jurassic outdoor Play Area, Dino Dig, Museum, indoor and outdoor Picnic Areas.
- Leading staff and ensuring high customer service standards.
- Helping your team Taking orders, Preparing and serving a basic food menu and drinks from the Monkey Cafe which is located inside the softplay area.
- Stock taking, stock rotation, stock ordering
- Helping maintain a safe, clean and enjoyable environment.
- Assisting with staff training and problem-solving.
- Overseeing daily nursery age appropriate activities through term time.
- Help develop activities for animal theme weeks and weekends throughout the year which fit in with our zoo location and activities running across the zoo.
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety, safeguarding, hygiene, and maintenance standards.
- Provide excellent customer service, dealing promptly and professionally with queries, feedback, and complaints.
- Maintain accurate operational documentation: data handling, reports, inspections, incidents, and cash handling.

What we're looking for-
- Experience in supervising or managing teams.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive attitude and passion for customer service.
- Someone who sets a high standard of cleanliness accross all play areas.
- Someone who thrives in a busy, family-focused environment.
- Experience with Word and Excel.
- First Aid and Health and Hygiene Qualifications or willingness to complete the relevant courses.

This Role is a full time permanent position working 9.30am until close (seasonal variations between 4pm and 6pm) 5 days per week across a 7 day rota and will include working some weekend days on a rota basis.

We are looking for a dedicated individual who has a passion for providing exceptional service and who enjoys working in a vibrant atmosphere. If you love interacting with children of all ages and creating magical memories for them, this role is perfect for you!

This positions is a Full-time Permanent role.
