Support Worker

£12.60 per hour

Are you a caring and compassionate individual looking to make a real difference in your community?
We are looking for committed Support Workers to join our growing domiciliary care team in the Newport area, supporting individuals to live independently within their own homes.
This is a rewarding role where no two days are the same you will be supporting people with daily living tasks, promoting independence, dignity and wellbeing.
You will work 12-hour day shifts, waking night shifts and sleep-in shifts and will be primarily based in one location for the duration of your shift, working across several locations within the Newport area.
What the Role Involves:
• Supporting individuals with a range of mental and physical health conditions
• Supporting individuals with personal care
• Assisting with meal preparation
• Medication support
• Helping with household tasks
• Supporting access to the community
• Promoting independence and choice
• Building positive, professional relationships

What We’re Looking For:
• A caring, reliable and positive attitude
• Good communication skills
• A commitment to providing high-quality care
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred)
• Experience is welcomed but not always essential – full training provided
