Important Notice: Alway Branch Surgery Closure on 10th June 2025

Due to a planned community event in the local area, Alway surgery will be closed on Tuesday, 10th June 2025.

All patient appointments scheduled for 10th June have been relocated to our main site at Beechwood Surgery. Patients with appointments on this date have/will be contacted directly with further details.

We appreciate your understanding as we prioritise the safety of both our patients and staff. Should you require urgent medical attention on the day, please contact the surgery as normal and our team will coordinate appropriate care.

MMR VACCINE CLINIC CWMBRAN

Protect your child from Measles, it’s never too late.

Measles is very serious and can make children very sick and lead to further complications which could result in hospitalisation. It is preventable through the MMR (Measles, Mumps and Rubella) vaccine.

This week anyone who needs an MMR vaccine can call to book an appointment to attend our clinics in Cwmbran on Thursday 15th / Friday 16th. Book an appointment or check your vaccination status by calling us on 0300 303 1373.

It’s never too late to catch up, and you can get the MMR vaccine for free on the NHS whatever your age.
