LLISWERRY PHARMACY

From Friday 30th January, we will be installing a new dispensing system and completing staff training over a two-week period.

During this time, there may be delays in prescription collection. Please allow up to 7 days from ordering to collection.

✨ Why are we making this change?
The new system will bring important benefits for our patients, including:

✅ Barcode checking to help prevent dispensing errors
📦 Improved tracking of outstanding items
📱 Text message notifications when your prescription is ready

We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience while we make these improvements 💙

A big thank you from all the Team at Lliswerry Pharmacy & LT Chemists to our patients for their generous gifts of biscuits and chocolates...they've kept us going through a very busy period this week and last!!
Note Lliswerry Pharmacy closes at 5pm and LT Chemists at 6pm on Christmas eve, however if you have enough medication until next week. Enjoy tomorrow and the Christmas week, then pick up your medication from Monday 29th.

You will still order your prescription the same way however your prescription will come to the pharmacy electronically rather than via a paper prescription.

What are electronic prescriptions?
Electronic prescriptions are an easier way to get your medicines. Instead of printing and signing paper prescriptions , staff at your GP 🩺 practice will send them directly to us.
This helps you, the pharmacy and the environment.🌳

What do I need to do?
Just tell our staff that you want to use EPS either at ordering or collection of your prescription and we will do the rest.

Now our “my local pharmacy” app is no longer supported and operational.
We are encouraging all our patients to use

NHS WALES APP (app.nhs.wales)

For ordering your repeat prescriptions and linking with your surgery. In the future this will also enable you to track your prescription once we go electronic!!
