Keep in Touch Therapies and Training Marie Lloyd My name is Marie Lloyd and I have been working in Care Sector since 1985.

I have worked in many areas of the Care Sector such as support worker ,activities co ordinator, drug and alcohol detox practitioner, care home manager and health & social care trainer & assessor. I am also a Holistic Therapist and have been qualified since 1999 in Aromatherapy, Holistic Facials, Thai Foot Massage, Hot Stones, Hopi Ear Candle Therapy Reflexology, Swedish Massage, Advanced Massage,Sports Massage, Lymphatic Drainage, Indian Head Massage & Counselling. In 2001 I became an NVQ Assessor A1 which allowed me to provide NVQ 2/3 in Health & Social Care & Holistic Therapy training in the workplace, Colleges & Community Centres. I have had many years experience working in the care profession such as St Cadocs Hospital, MIND, Domiciliary Care, Leonard Cheshire Homes, Women's Aid and providing detox treatment in Drug & Alcohol Projects. As a peripatetic tutor, I provide therapies and teach people from a variety of backgrounds including those with mental health issues, physical disabilities, the partially sighted and blind. My training programme was recognised by ELWA when I was awarded "Adult Tutor of the Year" for Wales in 2004. QUALIFICATIONS

* ILM 5 Management

* PTTLS Level 4 Teaching Qualification

* A1 Holistic Health & Social Care NVQ/QCF 2/3 Assessors award.

* Dementia Care Award

* Diploma in Holistic Therapies.

* NVQ level 3 in Health & Social Care.

* Yearly Mandatory Training i.e P.O.V.A. P.O.C.A Health & Safety , First Aid , Manual Handling , Infection Control, Food Hygiene, Dementia Care Training etc.

* Drug & Alcohol Detox Training.

* Liability Insurance from The Federation of Holistic Therapist.

In 2001 I became an Assessor which allowed me to provide qualifications and training in Health & Social Care & Holistic Therapy training in the workplace, Colleges & Community Centres. I have had many years experience delivering training and working in the care profession such as St Cadocs Hospital, MIND, Domiciliary Care, Leonard Cheshire Homes, Women's Aid and providing detox treatment in Drug & Alcohol Projects. As a peripatetic tutor, I provide therapies and teach people from a variety of backgrounds including those with mental health issues, living with dementia, physical disabilities, the partially sighted and blind.

I provide Well Being,Healthcare,Therapies,Child Care Training/Workshops and Consultancy in the community in the following sectors such as;

All care homes, domiciliary care and agency care workers.
