🔔Important Notice – Friday 25th July🔔

This Friday, 25th July, Malpas Pharmacy will be operating on skeleton staff between the hours of 1-3pm, as many of our team attend the funeral of Mr Peter Cloud — known affectionately to most of us as Grandad.

Peter was our longest-serving delivery driver, and truly part of the heart and soul of the pharmacy. Always ready with a joke, a warm smile, and a kind word, Grandad was more than a colleague – he was family. To so many of our patients, he was a familiar and friendly face, delivering not just medicines, but reassurance and care.

We will miss him more than words can say.

Please bear with us if things take a little longer on Friday – we appreciate your understanding as we say goodbye to someone who meant so much to our team and our community.

Abuse of our staff is never acceptable. The NHS Constitution is clear that violence, or the causing of nuisance or disturbance on NHS premises may result in prosecution or people being refused access to NHS services this includes derogatory remarks and abuse on social media.

The practice will not tolerate such behaviour and patients should be mindful that this could lead into removal from the practice list.
