Wow! What weather we have seen today. Some of the morning was spent watching and listening as hail, thunder and even lightening swept over the home in quite dramatic fashion. Thankfully the afternoon was less eventful with the lovely Merlynna from Independent Arts filling the air with beautiful harp music. Thank you for such a lovely session today. Sharing a snippet of our Burns Night celebrations today. We thoroughly enjoyed an afternoon being creative with some Scottish themed images. As we got to work, we enjoyed the chance to view images of Scotland beautiful landscape and listen to some bagpipe music being played. A very cultural experience for all promoting discussions on holidays, visits and all things Scottish.

Its Red Squirrel Appreciation Day and being in a rural setting we of course had to get involved.
This morning we enjoyed an insightful talk from Tracy at Zoologica. It was fascinating to hear about the life stages of a red squirrels, the dangers grey squirrels pose and of course some tips to making our site even more squirrel friendly. We can't wait to look out for our furry friends as part of the Big Garden Bird Watch next week.
This afternoon we completed in group and 1 to 1 sessions some squirrel paintings which when joined together created these great multicoloured collages.
