39,000 miles and the wet belt is already toast thanks to the wrong oil. 🤦‍♂️ Expensive lesson learned: Specific Oil Chemistry matters more than mileage for these belts. Cheers to the weekend and a car that (hopefully) won't explode now! 🛠️🍻

Big day in the shop yesterday ⚙️ We just finished up a major service on this vw passat (taxi) : a full clutch and flywheel replacement, a new timing belt, and a fresh crank seal to keep everything bone-dry. Ford transit custom

Customer found a patch of what he thought was coolant on the floor under his van untill he tried his clutch to drive away this morning :o

We done a call out for him to quickly inspect the situation and found that the slave cylinder inside the gearbox had failed and caused brake fluid to leak, we got it in and priced up a new 3 piece clutch and flywheel and had it back to him so he can continue to work

One happy customer id say :)
