We’re sending our very best to one of our longest supported athletes here at RMA, Daniel Eckersley, who’s lining up for the Half Marathon in Orkney tomorrow!
Dan deserves a special shout out as just 13 months ago, he suffered a ruptured Achilles. Fast forward to now, and he’s about to represent once again on the Island Games stage. An incredible journey of hard work, resilience, and dedication. To also make it to your sixth Island Games is an outstanding achievement. Our Island is proud of you! Enjoy 💥!!

Paediatric Chiropractic Care 👶

Here’s five key benefits of getting your little one professionally assessed and treated with chiropractic care:

1. Supports healthy nervous system development

2. Improved sleep patterns

3. Help with colic and digestive Issues

4. Eases tension from birth trauma

5. Improves breastfeeding and latching

Chiropractic care for babies is a gentle, specialized approach, that can have some fantastic results. Unbeknownst to many, newborn babies possess delicate nervous systems protected by their skulls and cartilaginous spines. Whether the birth is natural or with necessary interventions, a baby’s skull, neck, and spine can go through a great deal of physical stress. This stress may result in nerve dysfunction, which can manifest as breathing issues, irritability, colic, feeding difficulties, and more.

We’re very proud to have our specialist Dr. Abi Mackett helping so many wonderful little babies at the clinic.

If you have any questions regarding paediatric chiro care, please do give us a message and we’ll be happy you help!

The RMA Story...

RMA was established on the Isle of Wight in 2014. Since then, the clinic has grown from strength to strength and is now situated in a fantastic setting in central Newport. Jake (Clinic Director), has always had an aptitude for helping others and a real passion for health and fitness, so it was always a straightforward decision to practice in this profession.

The RMA team frequently enjoy attending workshops and seminars to make sure their knowledge and practical skills are kept up to date, ensuring patients are receiving the best quality of care required to recover and achieve results.

Jake has had the pleasure of working for Official Sports Services with both the All Blacks and the Wallabies during the Rugby World Cup 2015. More recently, Jake has worked with teams at the Women's Cricket World Cup, and also with both the England Rugby Union squad and the South African Cricket team.

“Having the opportunity to help others overcome persistent pain, turn negativity into positivity, correct bad movement habits, and to help people rebuild from injuries to achieve their goals is a job that I will never get tired of ”.
