People often arrive to me believing anxiety is the problem.

Or overthinking.

Or low confidence.

Or the inability to switch off.

But those things are rarely the root cause.

They're usually intelligent adaptations.

Responses the mind and body developed to keep us safe.

Because the subconscious mind is extraordinary.

It learns.

It predicts.

It protects.

And if at some point in life it learnt that the world wasn't entirely safe, that love had to be earned, that conflict should be avoided, that perfection prevented criticism or that being ‘good’ kept everyone happy...

It will continue running those programmes long after they're needed.

Not because you're broken.

Because your mind is doing exactly what it was designed to do.

The problem is that many of us are living from patterns created by younger versions of ourselves.

Versions that were simply trying to survive.

My work is about helping people understand those patterns.

Not just intellectually.

But emotionally.

Physiologically.

Subconsciously.

Together we explore the beliefs, experiences and protective strategies that have quietly shaped your life.

The things beneath the anxiety.

Beneath the self-doubt.

Beneath the people-pleasing.

Beneath the feeling that no matter how much you achieve, it's never quite enough.

Because healing isn't about becoming someone new.

It's about shedding what was never truly you.

Like a snake releasing an old skin it has outgrown.

Not because the skin was wrong.

But because it no longer fits.

Again and again I witness the same thing.

People arrive convinced they need fixing.

Then discover they were never broken at all.

They were carrying beliefs, fears, responsibilities and expectations that belonged to old chapters of their lives.

And when those begin to fall away...

Something remarkable happens.

They don't become somebody else.

They become more of themselves.

Calmer.

Stronger.

More authentic.

More free.

That is my work.

Not fixing.

A 4-week immersive nervous system experience by The Calm Collective.

A deeply restorative journey designed to guide you back into your body through grounding, scent, healing touch and sound.

Each week explores a different sensory pathway to calm, helping regulate the nervous system, soften emotional overwhelm and create space to truly slow down.

🌿 WEEK 1 (7/06) — GROUND: Gentle somatic movement, breathwork, grounding rituals & guided relaxation.Think: rooted, steady, present.

🌸 WEEK 2 (14/06) — SCENT: Aromatherapy, sensory calm & deep relaxation.Think: comfort, warmth, emotional release.

🤍 WEEK 3 (21/06) — TOUCH: Reiki, restorative healing & deep rest.Think: held, safe, restored.

🎶 WEEK 4 (28/06) — SOUND: A deeply immersive sound healing experience using crystal bowls, koshi chimes, tuning forks & ocean drums & more… Think: floating, peaceful, deeply rested.

tonight felt really special 🌕✨

under the energy of the blue moon, surrounded by both familiar faces and beautiful new ones, something shifted tonight. the sound healing felt powerful in a way i can’t quite put into words yet… the vibrations, the stillness, the deep exhales, the release.

it’s been a tough month for me personally, and honestly… these evenings heal me just as much as they heal the people who walk through the door. there’s something so beautiful about creating a space where people can simply soften, breathe and let go together.

seeing the room tonight… full of members old and new- made me realise this is only the beginning for me with sound healing. i’ve seen now just how powerful sound, frequency and vibration can be for the nervous system, the body and the soul… and i want to offer so much more of it moving forward.

thank you for trusting me, for showing up, and for making these evenings what they are 🤍

Last night’s Reconnect & Realign Sunday Reset felt really special 🤍

And if you’ve been seeing these evenings thinking “that’s probably not for me” this is your sign to come anyway ✨

You don’t need to be good at relaxing, spiritual, calm, flexible, or have any idea what to expect. So many people walk in nervous or unsure… and leave wondering why they didn’t try it sooner.

Honestly… what’s the worst that can happen from giving yourself one evening to properly slow down, breathe deeply, and let your nervous system exhale?

As the night went on, you could physically feel people soften… shoulders dropping, minds quietening, bodies finally relaxing.

We spoke about how easy it is to drift away from ourselves when life gets loud or emotionally heavy… and how important it is to gently reconnect back inwards instead of abandoning ourselves in the chaos.

I genuinely never take for granted what these evenings become. A room full of strangers walking in carrying stress, grief, burnout, heartbreak, exhaustion and overthinking… and somehow leaving softer, lighter and more connected 🤍

Most people don’t realise how much stress and anxiety live in the body long before they become thoughts.

By the time someone reaches burnout, it’s rarely just “too much work.”
It’s weeks, months… sometimes years of living in survival mode.
Overthinking everything.
Never fully switching off.
Sleeping, but never properly resting.
Functioning on the outside whilst the nervous system is quietly exhausted underneath it all.

This is one of the reasons hypnotherapy can work so powerfully for stress, anxiety and burnout.

Not because it’s “magic” (well actually it is a little bit 💫😅) or mind control…
But because it works with the subconscious and nervous system at the level the problem is actually being held.

In my clinic, we don’t walk in and immediately “do hypnosis.”
We start with conversation.
Understanding.
Talk therapy.
Creating safety and trust first.

Then, if the client feels comfortable, we gently move into hypnosis and nervous system regulation work.

That’s often the moment people realise how long it’s been since they truly felt calm.

Hypnotherapy isn’t about losing control.
If anything, it’s often the first time people feel back in control of themselves again.

I work with people experiencing:
• chronic stress & burnout
• anxiety & overthinking
• emotional overwhelm
• sleep difficulties
• nervous system dysregulation
• fears & emotional blocks
• addiction/unhealthy habits

Sessions are available both in-person at Nova Wellness Club and online.
And honestly, online hypnotherapy can be just as effective as in-person work.
