☀️August is definitely here!!☀️

After a full on day yesterday, a full team and 17 properties cleaned and ready for guests to check in! I didn't finish work until 7.45! A quick change at the unit and tried to make the most of my child free night by going out for dinner.

Walking down cliff edge at just gone 8pm we walked in to so many restaurants to get a table and all were fully booked or not taking walk ins. The majority stop serving at 9. At one point I was ready to eat domino's at the train station as I was just so hungry after working all day!

Then we stumbled upon Inca Mar Restaurant & Cocktail Bar i have to be honest I had no idea it was there! Although its very clearly marked and on the main street. 🙈

As we went in it looked busy, with the outside terrace overlooking the sea and beaches its a lovely place to enjoy some food and watch the sunset. However they were super friendly got us a table and we had the most gorgeous Italian meal, I had Crab linguine which was lush! The crab is cornish which is fantastic for the food miles, they make their own pasta aswel! And the pizza is all made to order. They serve food until 10pm (very useful to know) there is a good menu with lots of choices and the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating.

🌊 Saltd Café 🌊

The perfect stop in Newquay for a super tasty bite to eat and a yummy drink, they have a huge range of coffee, smoothies, coolers, milkshakes... anything you can think of!

Situated opposite aldi on the main stretch its ideal to swing by for breakfast before heading off ti the beach or a stop for a rest of your legs whilst out exploring Newquay.

Several of our properties are within easy walking distance to this little cafe, well worth a visit!

BEDS BEDS BEDS, Luckily I really enjoy making beds up and creating the most crisp comfy looking bed I can in all of your beautiful properties!

✨️Top tip: White linen and throws/ pillows to compliment your room is the best option for that crisp hotel look and adding a luxurious touch with a throw. These throws are all straight foot throws but I do also do sashes, bows and rolled throws depending on what I have available.

🌲Is this Cornwall??🌲

Yes!!! This beautiful woods is based 5 minutes off the a30 as you drive down to Newquay, although when you arrive you feel like your driving down a Canadian mountainside 🇨🇦

Cardinham Woods is absolutely worth the visit while you are down. Only a 20 minute drive from Newquay with miles and miles of woodland to explore, take the kids and the dog 🐕 for an adventure!!

If you take the kids you may even bump into some familiar characters from The Gruffalo story!

Once you have worked up an appetite there is a quaint little cafe serving light lunch and some very tasty sweet treats!!
