L A V E N D E R…

Absolute medicine for the nervous system.

Lavender is one of the most well-known and loved essential oils in aromatherapy, and for good reason. It’s a true all-rounder:

🌿 Calms the nervous system — great for anxiety, stress and overwhelm
🌿 Supports deep sleep — a few drops on your pillow or in a diffuser can ease you into rest
🌿 Soothes tension headaches and sore muscles — especially in massage oil blends
🌿 Gentle enough for all ages — from babies to elders
🌿 Naturally antibacterial and anti-inflammatory — beautiful in skincare
🌿 A must-have for the first aid kit — especially helpful for burns

In fact, lavender’s reputation for healing burns goes way back to the early 1900s when French chemist René-Maurice Gattefossé badly burned his hand in a lab accident. In desperation, he plunged it into a vat of lavender oil and was amazed by how quickly it began to heal — with very little scarring. That moment sparked his lifelong study of essential oils and the birth of modern aromatherapy.

In my treatments, lavender often shows up as an anchor — it brings people home to themselves. It’s especially powerful for those who feel over-stimulated, burnt out, or like their feet haven’t touched the earth in a while.

Today was a reminder of where it all begins… not in the bottle, but in the field.

- Ps the Lavender Cream Tea is a must try!

T E A R S…

There’s been many in this beautiful yurt of mine.

And of all the people that have cried in here there is one common thing they say when it happens: SORRY 😔

Why have we as a society made crying something we have to feel sorry about? Why do we feel ashamed to cry?

I want to help people to release the fear and the shame around crying, so instead of getting emotional about it (pun intended) let’s look at it from a biological and scientific standpoint:

CRYING IS THE BODYS WAY OF RELEASING THE STRESS HORMONE CORTISOL.

That’s it. Fact. It is not something to fear or feel ashamed about. And it’s definitely not something you need to apologise for.

My yurt will always be a safe space to bring ALL the emotions. No judgement. No need for fear or shame. Just you as you are in your rawest form and definitely no need to say sorry.

In the words of the song:

Oh, it’s okay to be
A little broken and beat
I’m alright with that
You’re with me relax…
So, go on and cry, baby, cry, baby
‘Cause you don’t have to keep it inside
Go on and cry, baby, cry, baby
And there’s no reason you got to hide…

Me and my little yurt - we got you 🫶🏼

B L E S S I N G S…

Sometimes life sucks.

When things feel heavy it can be hard to look up and notice the glimmers in the darkness.

That is the time it’s most important to go outside, stop, take a moment, breathe and really look at the world around you.

Find something to be grateful for. No matter how small and hold onto that for dear life. It’s those things that will get you through.

The best things in life really are free.

A N C H O R ⚓️

Drop into your body. Breathe deep. Come home to yourself.

I’m obsessed with this massage oil – it invites you to slow down, soften, and reconnect.

Blended by hand in small batches, my signature Earth massage oil is used exclusively in my deeply grounding Earth treatment. I created this blend for those moments in life when you feel untethered — whether you’re navigating anxiety, stress, grief, trauma, or simply struggling to relax and switch off.

The scent is earthy, warm and comforting… like lying on the forest floor after a storm.

Each drop is infused with oils traditionally used to calm the nervous system, support emotional regulation, and gently guide you out of your head and back into your body.

This treatment has become a go-to for many of my fellow therapists — the people who usually hold space for others — because they know they can fully let go here.

Some clients have called me an anchor to the Earth — and that’s exactly how I want you to feel: safe, steady, held.

Grounding is the art of reconnecting with your centre. It can help ease racing thoughts, regulate your breath, relax your muscles and gently remind your nervous system that you are safe.

If you’re feeling scattered, overwhelmed, or like you’ve lost touch with yourself, this is a beautiful space to return to. Come as you are — this moment is yours.

T I M E F O R A S E R V I C E?

If your car broke down, you wouldn’t ignore it.
If your cat/dog/hamster was unwell, you’d be straight to the vet.
So why do you ignore your body when it’s crying out for support?

We service our vehicles.
We care for our pets.
We invest in things that matter.

But when it comes to our own health and wellbeing, we wait.
We put it off.
We tell ourselves we’ll deal with it later.

The truth?

Your body is the vehicle you live in.
Without it running well, nothing else does.

You deserve the same care, urgency, and investment you’d give to anyone or anything else you love. 💛

G R A T I T U D E…

Gratitude is my new daily practice.

Every day, I’m writing down three things I’m grateful for — and today it’s these three beauties. Laughing, dancing, and feeling completely myself with them.

Practising gratitude isn’t just about listing things — it’s a powerful way to shift your mindset. Studies have shown that regularly focusing on what you’re thankful for can:

✨ Reduce stress and anxiety
✨ Improve sleep and boost energy
✨ Strengthen relationships
✨ Increase resilience and overall mental wellbeing

When life feels overwhelming, gratitude brings you back to the present. To what is working. To love, joy, and connection. Even in the smallest moments.

So here’s to the dance floor moments, the belly laughs, and the friends who feel like home 💛

What are you grateful for today?

Sunset dips & sea magic 🌊🌅
There’s something so primal, so peaceful, about slipping into the sea as the sun melts into the horizon.

Cold water swimming isn’t just a wild moment of bravery—it’s a beautiful way to reset your whole system. It boosts circulation, reduces inflammation, and gives your immune system a natural lift. But beyond the physical benefits, it’s the mental clarity and emotional release that keeps me coming back.

The cold wakes you up. The waves calm you down. And for a moment, everything else melts away.

✨ Stress softens
✨ Mood lifts
✨ You remember how strong you really are

If you’ve never tried it… this is your sign. The sea is waiting.

Hello lovely people. You may or may not know that I used to work in the most amazing crystal shop ever with the funniest, kindest, takes no bull 💩, kicked cancers backside warrior of a woman Tanya as my boss (and now my good friend).

Unfortunately meta/insta decided that somehow Tanya has violated their terms and have closed down all her Instagram accounts including her well established business page. She had built up over 10k followers on there over the years and had a lovely loyal community of customers who would come and visit us on the lives we ran . It was like a family.

Obviously Tanya is gutted. On appeal they have informed her the business page will be permanently shut down. We have no idea how their terms were violated as she rarely posts there but does often go live.

However…being the ever practical magical person she is there is a NEW business account please go give her a follow and also share this post far and wide. Head over to her website or shop to check out her beautiful crystal offerings. Each one is chosen with love and they are the most powerful crystals I’ve ever worked with.

Much appreciated and I know there are some some clan members on here so please do share with anyone else you may be linked with.

Much love and gratitude always.

“I can’t see a way through,” said the boy.
“Can you see your next step?”
“Yes.”
“Just take that,” said the Horse.
— Charlie Mackesy

Something’s definitely shifting energetically because I’ve seen so many similar posts this week…

This run? SUCKED. (Apart from the view, obviously) took me two hours to talk myself into getting my backside out. Dehydrated. Under fuelled. Not the best start with all the potential not to end well!

I felt every. single. step. Physically and mentally. I was NOT feeling it. It’s a route I’ve done a thousand times before, and one of my favourite places to be, it should’ve been “easy.” But when the mind starts telling you, “you can’t do this,” it’s a battle to keep the body moving.

Did I swear my way around? Like a sailor!
Did I have to give myself a good talking to? Every step!
Was it pretty? Not even close!
Did it take me loads longer than usual? Yep!
Did I give up? NO WAY!

Moral of the story?

Just take the next step—no matter what your mind is telling you. You can beat a negative mindset and turn it around.

Some days you’re the hare. Other days you’re the tortoise.
It doesn’t matter how the journey looks, as long as you keep moving forward. The only way to cross the finish line? One step at a time.

Day 3: How would I treat myself if I were my own best friend?

Imagine for a moment that you are your own best friend. How would you speak to yourself? How would you support yourself through tough times? What little acts of kindness would you show?

Too often, we are our own harshest critics, speaking to ourselves in ways we’d never dream of speaking to a loved one. Today’s journaling prompt invites you to shift that perspective.

Ask yourself:
❤️ What kind words would I say to myself?
💛 How would I celebrate my wins—big or small?
💙 What boundaries would I set to honour my needs?
💚 How would I show myself love daily?

Write your thoughts down, and if you feel like sharing, drop a comment below: What’s one way you can treat yourself with more kindness today?

Positive affirmation for today:

“I am worthy of the same kindness, love, and care that I give to others.”

Write this in your journal and repeat it throughout the day.
