He began working in funeral directing at just 16 years old, guided by the values of care, respect, and professionalism instilled by his grandfather & father. For many years, Andrew proudly served local families through the well-known family business, A C Richards & Son. In 2023, Andrew rebranded the business to Andrew Richards Funeral Services, marking a new chapter while preserving the trusted heritage and compassionate service that families have relied upon for generations. Andrew’s wife, Karen, plays an active and valued role in the day-to-day care of families and the smooth running of the service.
