Our roots in the community run deep, and our commitment to supporting local families during difficult times is at the heart of everything we do. A Lifelong Commitment to Funeral Care
Andrew Richards was born and raised in Newquay, and his connection to the community has shaped both his life and his career. He began working in funeral directing at just 16 years old, guided by the values of care, respect, and professionalism instilled by his grandfather & father. For many years, Andrew proudly served local families through the well-known family business, A C Richards & Son. In 2023, Andrew rebranded the business to Andrew Richards Funeral Services, marking a new chapter while preserving the trusted heritage and compassionate service that families have relied upon for generations. Andrew’s wife, Karen, plays an active and valued role in the day-to-day care of families and the smooth running of the service. Together, Andrew and Karen bring warmth, sincerity, and dedication to every aspect of their work. Here for Our Community
Whether you are seeking guidance, planning ahead, or arranging a farewell for someone dear, we are here to support you with honesty, understanding, and a gentle hand. We consider it a privilege to serve our community and to help families honour their loved ones in a meaningful and personal way.

🎄 Memory Tree at Christmas 🎄

This Christmas, Andrew Richards Funeral Services is honoured to be part of two special community events that offer a quiet moment of reflection and remembrance.

Our Memory Tree is now in place at our Newquay office, where families and members of the community are warmly invited to add a name or message in memory of a loved one. It is a gentle way to remember those who are no longer with us, especially at this reflective time of year.

We are also pleased to be taking part in the Perranzabuloe Church Christmas Tree Festival, where our Memory Tree will be displayed alongside many others from the local community. The festival is a wonderful opportunity to come together, remember loved ones, and celebrate the spirit of Christmas.

Everyone is welcome to visit, pause, and remember. 💫
