Another year spinnin' around thr sun complete.

I don't ever really celebrate birthdays and this one is no different in that sense but, it does mark the beginning of a whole new chapter in this one, precious life. Which is rather exciting.

Here's to the 38th year being a banger.

Well well. Another winter of magic has come, and gone, again. Here, is a snap shot - photo edition.

This one flew by. It feels like only yesterday we were stood in the garden watching the northern lights and everything in between has been a glorious whirlwind of colourful memories, delicious plates, turtles and sweat. I miss humidity already.

Time with my partner in life crime , time with friends and then time on retreat, made for an abundant 7 weeks. In every way.

Thank you to everyone that joined me on, what really will be, the last Sri Lanka retreat. The world is big, its time to explore new shores. It was a perfect combo of fimiliar faces and new found friends - as always it was an absolute honour to have you all join me. A mega shout out to my ride or die, - you are the best emotional support animal.

So, life now goes back to normal, that is infact not normal at all! A new home to build and create, some huge changes and no doubt some mega challenges, are on their way. All while trying to run and sustain a growing business without loosing my sanity. But, I cant wait.

What a night. I cant believe our first time seeing the northern lights was from our own terrace. Turns out living on a north facing slope has some perks after all.

And, perfectly timed!! See ya later Cornwall, in 24 hours we will be back to tropical magic.

Winter has been wilder in general, but kinder than normal, to me.

Or maybe I have been kinder to it..??

We are off again in one week for the annual 'escape' but, this year it feels like a want and not a need. I dont feel like a shell of a human and I know its because life has changed to how it's meant to be. We now live surrounded by trees, space and o my word the biggest impact, open sky. Sky therapy - I'm declaring it as real. Bird song, cows and the wind through the trees is all we hear. Its divine.

And its meant I haven't felt like s**t and need to run away to feel sun and touch leaves. Don't get me wrong, I can not bloomin' wait for that, but it doesn't feel like my mental health depends on it.

That's my quarterly grid post up date, done. 🤣 if you dont want to see the anual 'bird of the day', curry feasts and tropical beaches for the next 7 weeks in stories, mute me now 😘

Well, we flippin' did it. We have moved in.

It has been a rollercoaster, to say the least. We have sold a house, moved into 4 different temporary accommodations, spent endless hours arguing/asking nicely/investigating/organising and occasionally, even begging, but we got here. We have been housed, fed and kept sane by friends and strangers, nearly lost it twice (the house that is, we lost our sanity months ago) but, we knew it was ours from the moment we saw it.

We have big plans for this little bungalow of joy, but now it's clean and livable, some time to rest a bit first.

Here's to a very exciting new start and an anxiety enducing amount of work to do 🤣🥰😘

I haven't posted onto social media since May. In truth I have had zero urge to, and when I tried it felt... icky. Unauthentic and uncomfortable, what with the world being as it is, and I felt like there was nothing to share that wasn't just more noise in this noisy space.

But, this trip is without a doubt worth the share. It couldn't have come at a better time, for myself and for most of us there. A little escape, a gathering of wonderful people, time to relax, unwind, heal, talk, move, eat delicious food, pull cards, stare at the moon, burn our barriers, swim, sun bake, leisurely wander around, walk silently amongst the trees, have massages, and just... be.

The glorious French countryside held us well, with her rolling hills and full moon filled nights.

Thank you to my absolute dream team for helping me make this years Restorative Retreat one to remember.
for delivering her soulful sound sessions, for feeding us so many epic meals, .bman for being my treatment delivering sidekick and .marie.lovelady for sharing her knowledge and connection to our natural world. You guys 😘😘😘

In a world where busy has become our norm, it can be hard to stop and not feel guilty about allowing ourselves time to stop, and rest. This gang, it seems, nailed it.

Temple offerings and time to feel exceptional gratitude for the privilege of spending 3 months embracing this magical island. Tomorrow is our last day before returning home. I am leaving feeling refreshed, inspired, and ready after fully allowing myself (finally) time to rest completely, heal, and reset.

I have read an endless amount of nonsense books, gazed at stars, swam, walked, eaten incredible food, watched fire flies, and spent a countless number of hours sat on a terrace drinking tea while watching the birds. I've also watched the grand total of two hours of TV in 3 months... seriously, we should all get rid of those things.

For the first time, maybe ever, I have zero desire to go back to doing and planning. This not rushing life hits different, and I am here for it to STAY! This chapter is going to be all about reaping the rewards of all those years of intensive sowing, graciously.
