By alternative therapy I mean methods that deal with the physical and emotional bodies like somatics or energetic work.
Psychiatrists are very much needed to help people unfold the mental clutter, to kind of put it in order and make sense of it all. That is the first step.
But we are at a time where we need to take it to a deeper level. By talking about it you are processing it and bringing awareness to the situation at hand. However we cannot forget the unprocessed emotions stored in the body, which if left for too long or suppressed, it results in physical pain. We need to start implementing methods that help shift those too.
People are open to new modalities and methods, to get out of the endless loops and patterns we keep finding ourselves in. Which will eventually bring us back to being fully present with our bodies, our organic nature.
The way I see them energetically, these untangled thoughts, is as an outside resource that came into our field to make us confused, to try and stop our growth and power. And for some this takes over cause you can feel really helpless at times. However, for those who approach it as a journey, are able to detangle it slowly, and the pathway is made clear again.
Instead of depending on pills, that actually suppress or hide what people are experiencing, let’s create resources that actually help people to map out the best way for them to use their abilities/situation to their benefit.
What is normal anyway? This increase in diagnosis is because finally people are speaking out. Was this always there? Yes, but people has tried to blend in or hide it. The new generation is here to show us different ways, back to how it was originally.
I would also love to see alternative therapies more in hospitals or clinics. Yes you can find it in certain countries, but not all, and sometimes it’s specific to a certain wing, and most opportunities only on voluntary basis. So there’s room for improvement.
Here to hope for more collaborations.
