Kennedy (Banbridge, formerly Glenn) died 19th November 2025 peacefully at Craigavon Area Hospital. Vincent R.I.P. Loving husband of Agnes (Geraldine), father of Paul, Bernadette & Geoffrey, brother of Edmund, Desmond, Patrick, Bernadette, Briege and the late Josephine, Maureen & Gerald.

His remains will repose at Charles Digney & Sons Funeral Home, 14 Townsend Street, Banbridge on Monday from 6.00pm – 8.00pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday in St. Patrick’s Church, Dromore Street, Banbridge at 11.00am. A private cremation will follow.

Deeply regretted by his wife, sons, daughter, many grandchildren, brothers, sisters, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews and extended family circle.

McAvoy (nee Grant)(Mayobridge) 6th November 2025 peacefully at Daisy Hill Hospital, Carmel R.I.P. surrounded by her loving family, dear wife of the late Brendan, loving mother of Denise & Mark, cherished mother in law of Mark & Sinead, much loved granny of Katie-rose, Oliver, Danny, James & Ashling. Much loved sister of Anne, Clare, Rita and the late Kathleen & Meave.

Her remains will repose at her home, 73 Newry Road, Mayobridge today Thursday from 6.00pm -9.00pm and tomorrow Friday 1.00pm – 9.00pm. Funeral Mass in St. Patrick’s Church, Mayobridge on Saturday at 12.00noon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Dorota Sylwia Lelonek, Portadown, Newry and formerly Poland died peacefully at Evora Hospice, Newry surrounded by her family.

Funeral service will take place on Wednesday at 3.00pm in Charles Digney & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Sugar House Quay, Newry BT34 6HZ.

Private cremation to follow.

Palmer (nee Loughran) (Dromore, formerly Newry) died 29th October 2025, Ursula R.I.P. Mother of Luke and daughter of the late Desmond & Frances Loughran, Greenfield Park, Newry. Sacred heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul.

Her remains will repose in Charles Digney & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Sugar House Quay, Newry on Friday from 2pm until 4pm and 6pm until 8pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday in St. Patrick & St Colman’s Cathedral, Newry at 1pm. Burial afterwards in Monkshill Cemetery.

Simpson (nee McGrath) (Glascar) died 27th October 2025 peacefully at her home. Bridget (Bridie) RIP. Wife of John and much-loved mother of Martin, Garry, Leanne and the late Patrick. Sister of Eugene, Joe, Vincent, Teresa and the late Seamus. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul.

Her remains will repose at her home 33 Glascar Road Loughbrickland BT32 5DU until removal on Thursday for 11:30am funeral mass in St. Patrick’s Church, Loughbrickland. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Deeply regretted by her sorrowing husband, sons, daughter, daughters-in-law Denise and Joyce; son-in-law Paddy; grandchildren Nicole, Niall, Shannon, Eimear, Ciarrai, Josh, Chloe; and great grandchild Brooke; brothers, sister, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces, family circle and friends.

His remains will repose at his home from 1pm until 8pm on Wednesday. Removal on Thursday for 2.00pm funeral mass in St. Patrick’s Church, Dromore Street, burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Dromore Rd , Banbridge. Family home private on the morning of funeral.
