I started this clinic on my own — now we’re a strong, skilled team I'm incredibly proud of.

As we approach the end of our first year in Camlough, it's the perfect time to reflect on how far we've come. The clinic has grown, and so has our commitment to providing a professional, efficient service that’s both friendly and kind.

Since moving in September 2024, I’ve diagnosed and surgically removed over 150 skin cancers — early detection saves lives. Dr Alan Glendinning has now joined me in this mission to catch skin cancers early and protect our community.

Meanwhile, Dr Christine Glendinning and Dr Rosy Manson lead our care for inflammatory skin conditions like acne, eczema and psoriasis, offering compassionate, evidence-based treatment.

Garry continues to shine at reception and behind the scenes, keeping everything running smoothly.

And our wonderful team of nurses? Simply outstanding. We couldn’t do it without them.

🎉 100 YouTube Videos! 🎉

Today I’ve uploaded my 100th video to YouTube — this one’s all about Imiquimod cream, which I prescribe for certain early skin changes.

When I started, my goal was to help my patients understand their skin and get the best results from treatment.
Along the way, it’s also become a way to raise awareness about skin cancer — what to look out for, and what to do about it.

It’s not always easy (I love filming, but the editing.... 😅), but hitting this 100-video milestone feels like a moment to pause and feel proud.

It’s hard to know whether a mole or skin lesion is something to worry about. And to be honest —it’s not always easy for doctors either.

Over the past few years, I’ve been trying to find a better way to teach people what to look for. Something simple, practical, and grounded in how real skin behaves. That’s how the SAFE Skin System came about.
