Hi everyone, I'm here to share a big annoucement! ‼️😁

It's hard to believe, but UCY has been around for approx. 6 or 7 years now! (I feel so old 👵) It came about so that smaller CY groups could come together in bigger numbers in a way that would enable us to do more together and have more fruitful fellowship with other Christian young people.

Over the years UCY has changed and grown, and I'm sure many of you will agree, it's been a real blessing to be part of. But an exciting time and opportunity has come again to think about how our Christian fellowship can grow!

Many of you who come to UCY, also go to Alive Youth (Newry Baptist) and vice versa. That's a pretty full calendar of youth events to choose between and go to! So we've decided to combine the two, into New Youth.

So what does this mean? 🤔 Lots of cool great things! 🎉 We're still going to meet in Riverside hall most of the time. You'll still get to see the same people and hopefully meet some new ones too . It means you have more leaders that can work together to organise great speakers and events.

We're starting on the 16th of September, Riverside Hall, 7-9.30pm. We really hope to see you all again, and always remember the more the merrier, everyone is welcome! PS. Don't forget to go like the New Youth page so you can stay updated.

The Go Team are also running a Holiday Bible Club for primary school children this week and it would be great to see some new and familiar faces there!

Our summer club with the Go Team starts tonight (Wednesday) and runs until Friday and this year's theme is Superheroes! Hope to see you all there for some fellowship and fun! Absolutely everyone welcome as usual!

UCY on the 27th of May, with Luke and Alison McCollum coming to speak on Patience. 7-9pm at Riverside as per usual! It'll be our last meet before we break for summer, so make sure to come along! Hope exams are going well everyone!

Sorry for the late update, but UCY is on tonight (Saturday 13th May) from 7 - 9 as usual with Mr Nigel Agnew continuing our talks on emotions followed by John McKnight's 'Fun First Aid' (take two!)

Sorry for the late announcement! UCY on tomorrow night, 22nd April. Our speaker is David McMahon followed by John McKnight's fun first aid & Ice cream sundaes. Really encourage everyone to come along, always a good idea to be equipped with first aid skills, and John always makes it interesting! :D 7-9pm at Riverside like usual. Don't forget to invite your friends!

He's also planned 'Gladiator Arena', and that's all I know 😅 But it's sure to be great craic, so come along and invite your friends too. See you there!

Details about the SPCY Crazy Golf at Dundonald on the 18th.
Cost £10 per person + bring money for McDonalds.
There is a bus with the following pick up times:
Tullyvallen 6pm Markethill 6.15
Newry park and ride at Sheepbridge 6.30pm
Loughbrickland 6.40pm at church.
Hope to be home to Tullyvallen at 11pm.

No UCY this weekend, instead the C.Y. Spring conference is on this Saturday at Trinity RPC, 7.30pm. Ruth has offered 3 seats in her car, but only available for the way home.

UCY is on Saturday 25th Feb at Riverside Church, 7-9pm as per usual. We're excited to have Peter McCollum as our speaker continuing our series with 'Temptation'. As for our activity, it's going to be very sporty (need to work off all those delicious temptations!) so I advise you try to DRESS COMFORTABLY, we don't want any ripped skinny jean disasters! As always bring along your friends, and see you on Saturday :D

UCY this Saturday at Riverside, 7-9pm! Slightly different from usual: a coffee evening, an opportunity to hear about the work of Christians Against Poverty, and even better, a chance to donate to their great work. Really encourage you to bring your friends along this week! Will be great to hear!
