❕Frequently Asked Questions about our Passport Application Service❕

👉Do you offer the service for first time applicants?
Yes, the service covers first time applicants, renewals, name changes, lost/stolen passports, damaged passports and when visa pages are full.

👉 Do I need an appointment?
No our service is walk in, however we only offer this service between 9am-12:30pm on weekdays and 11am-6pm on a Saturday.

👉Do I need to take paper photographs/passport forms with me?
No, we use the online service so we will take photographs and fill out the application digitally.

👉 Do I need to take anything with me?
For both adult and childrens renewals please take applicants old passport
For a child's first passport please take one of the parents passports
Anyone born on or after 01/01/2005 will now also require a parents passport as proof of parent's Irish citizenship prior to applicant’s date of birth

👉 Will anything need to be posted?
Adult renewals will not usually require any supporting documents to be sent to the passport office, only in instances such as a name change.

If your passport has more than 12 months until expiry and you are renewing for a different reason, i.e damage to the passport, you will be required to send your old passport to the passport office.

First time applicants & childrens passports will require supporting documents to be posted, these do not neccessarily need to be brought with you. You will get a list of everything that is required to be posted and we will run through it with you to ensure you know what needs to be sent.

• Washing your hands regularly
• Catching coughs and sneezes in a tissue
• Minimising contact with others
• Getting vaccinated if you are eligible

Stay well this winter and help stop the spread😷🦠

📌Take common sense steps to reduce the spread of flu and other similar illnesses by exercising good respiratory and hand hygiene and staying away from others if you have symptoms.

📌Self-care is often the best choice to treat minor illnesses. Pharmacists are qualified to give advice about different health matters, including minor illnesses, so consider speaking to a pharmacist before going to your GP.

📌And if eligible get your flu vaccine, COVID-19 vaccine and RSV vaccine.
