Vincent (Vinny) Quigley R.I.P.

Armagh Road (Newry) and formally of Cedarwook Park, Dundalk. 12th January 2026. Peacefully at Daisy Hill Hospital, Newry, surround by his loving family.

Beloved husband of Regina and father of Devin and Ellis. Grandfather of Tommy. Son of Pacella (Solo) and Tommy Quigley. Brother of Martin, Damien and the late Mary R.I.P.

Reposing at his residence 9 Armagh Road, Newry, BT35 6DJ today (Tuesday) from 6.00pm and all-day Wednesday.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 11.30am in St Brigid’s Church, Kilcurry, burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Vinny will be very sadly missed by his wife, children, grandson, parents, brothers, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, future daughter-in-law, godchild, nephews, nieces, extended family circle and friends.

Peacefully at Daisy Hill Hospital, 11th January 2026. Late of Barcroft Park.

Son of the late Dermot and Roselin R.I.P. loving brother of Anne, Robert and Shane.

Pat will be reposing at his sister's residence 7 Glen Hill Park, Newry from tomorrow (Monday) 7.00pm.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated in Church of the Assumption, Drumalane on Wednesday at 2.00pm. Burial afterwards in Cloughoge.

Sorrowfully missed by his loving Sister, Brothers, nieces Ríoghnach and Brónagh, nephews Tiarnán and Corráig, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family circle and friends.

Beloved brother of Anna and brother-in-law of Derek (Hanna). Much loved uncle of Lisa, Paul and Jacqueline.

Service will take place 12 noon, Saturday 27th December at 14 Main Street Bessbrook with private burial afterwards in Monkshill Municipal Cemetery.

Ronald will be lovingly remembered by his sister, brother-in-law his niece's. nephew, wider family circle and friends.

Acknowledgement Notice on behalf of the family of the late Anne Carragher R.I.P.

We, the family of the late Anne Carragher, wish to express our sincere gratitude to all who sympathised with us on our recent sad bereavement.

Thank you to our family, friends, neighbours and local businesses who called to the house, sent messages of condolence, brought food, and helped during the wake — especially Maureen, Janine, Veronica, Mary and Joanna.

Thank you to Fr Patrick Desmond for celebrating the Requiem Mass and for his comforting words to the family; to Janice Gribben for the beautiful singing and music; and to all who took part in the Mass.

A special thanks to all the staff in Belfast City Hospital, Evora Hospice Newry, and the Macmillan Nurses who cared for Anne in such a compassionate, dignified and professional manner.

We extend our sincere thanks also to Poucher Funeral Directors for the professional way in which they carried out the funeral, and for the care, respect and dignity shown to us at this difficult time.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our heartfelt thanks and appreciation.

Formely of Mayobridge. Peacefully at Evora Hospice 27th September 2025.

Loving wife of James, and mother of Richard. Anne will be reposing at her son's residence 3 Ardaveen Drive, Newry, tomorrow Sunday from 4.00pm to 9.00pm. House private on morning of funeral.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St Catherine 's Dominican Church on Monday at 12.30pm. Burial afterwards in St Peter and St Paul's Cemetery Bessbrook.

Acknowledgement Notice

We the family of the late Diane Preece, wish to express our sincere gratitude to all who sympathised with us during our recent sad bereavement.

We offer heartfelt thanks to our extended family and the many friends and neighbours who attended the wake and funeral Mass and who provided practical and emotional support to the family. For all those who sent condolences, sent Mass Cards, sympathy cards and messages, telephoned, brought food, floral tributes or made charitable donations to Breast Mates Newry, we are truly grateful.

A special word of thanks to Fr. Patrick Desmond for the beautiful Requiem Mass at St Catherine's Dominican Church, Newry, and the interment prayers at the graveside. Our thanks also to Janice Gribben and Bernadette O'Donnell for the beautiful music and singing and all who took part in the Mass.

We would also like to convey our thanks to all who supported and helped Diane in any way including Dr. Audrey Fenton, Oncologist, the wonderful staff at the Mandeville Unit Craigavon Area Hospital, Daisy Hill Hospital, Cornmarket Surgery Practice, Newry's District Nurses, McKeevers Pharmacy, Breast Mates Newry and her close friends and family who offered much needed support and strength to her. Thank you for your care, compassion and the dignity you showed Diane and our family.

Finally our sincere thanks to Lorraine and family at Pouchers Funeral Directors for their professional, compassionate and dignified handling of all Funeral Arrangements and for the care and respect shown to us at this sad time.

We the family of the late Brian Treanor would

Died suddenly at his residence 61 Church St, Newry. 24th May 2025.

Loving Father of Pawel, Father-in-law of Paulina and Brother of Janina Mrozek.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 12.30pm in St Catherine's Dominican, Newry, followed by a private cremation.

Piotr will be sadly missed by his loving Son, Daughter-in-law, Sister, Grandchildren Maja, Adam, Patrick, Wiktoria and partner Krystyna.
