𝑨𝒄𝒌𝒏𝒐𝒘𝒍𝒆𝒅𝒈𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 – May O’Neill RIP (Mobane, Crossmaglen)

We, the family, of the late May O’Neill RIP would like to thank most sincerely all who sympathised with us on our recent bereavement.
We are grateful to everyone who attended the wake and funeral (in person and online), who sent Mass bouquets and sympathy cards, who sent the beautiful floral tributes and all who expressed condolences.
Our thanks to Brendan, Paddy and all at McConville’s Funeral Directors for their dignified handling of the funeral arrangements.
Thank you to Siobhan Mone at Fleur n Bloom who created the beautiful flower arrangement for May’s coffin with such thought and artistry.
Our heartfelt thanks for the loving care and support provided by the teams of carers who looked after our mother so well – Eleanor and her wonderful Enable Care team: Ellie, Millie, Olivia, Amy, Mary, Josephine, Fiona, Tara, Madeleine, Eimear, Aine, Marjorie, Catherine, Holly and to Kingdom Care’s Caroline, Josie, Connie & Rita for their gentle care and attention.
Grateful thanks to Drs Kevin & Brid Allen, Dr Patrick Fee and all the staff at Rathkeeland House Surgery for their great care over the years and to the Acute Care Hospital at Home team who attended our mother recently, enabling her to remain at home.
Thanks to all the Therapists and the whole Southern Health & Social Care Trust team who helped to make her final years as comfortable as possible.
We are so grateful to Nurse Ann Russell and her District Nursing team in Crossmaglen for the loving care and attention afforded to our mother and the support given to us.
Thank you to our former neighbour Damian Murphy and his Pharmacy team for looking after our mother for so many years and delivering her medication each week.
We would like to thank our Parish Priest Fr. Dermot for his utmost care in visiting our mother daily when she became unwell. Fr. Dermot’s gentle guidance in preparing the Requiem Mass and his care in visiting the house during the wake and on the morning of the funeral is appreciated by all the family. We are grateful for the beautiful Requiem Mass; thank you to the Eucharistic Ministers and to Geraldine, St Patrick’s Sacristan for her work in preparing the Church.
We are indebted to Dearbhla for making it home in time to sing at May’s funeral, fulfilling a long-held wish of our mother’s. Thank you to Dearbhla’s brilliant musician friends Joanna and Dermot for enhancing the Requiem Mass with their superb playing.
To our wonderful neighbours, Uncles, Aunts, McCoy and O’Neill cousins who did so much to help at the wake and in our mother’s last days - your love and kindness is appreciated.
To all our family and friends who carried our mother’s coffin along our road and from the Square to the Church, and to all who stewarded the road at the wake and funeral, our sincere thanks.
Thank you to Culloville Community Centre, especially Bridie, who were so kind in providing chairs and kitchen equipment for the wake and in accommodating the after-Funeral Meal.
Thank you to Conlon’s Food Hall Catering, Dundalk and their staff who provided a delicious meal, enjoyed by all.
We appreciate all the help given and prayers offered. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
May’s month’s mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 5th October at 12.00pm (which is also the anniversary of her husband Terry) in St Patrick’s Church, Crossmaglen. Livestream of the Mass will be available on the Church we**am www.uppercreggan.co.uk
