Verrucae are very painful and uncomfortable little things. Don’t suffer get in touch and let me help you banish them.
I always forget to take photos, luckily a lovely mum was kind enough to send me some of her daughters feet before and after I treated her. This was achieved after 3 months of treatment. It is fair to say everyone is very happy with the results.

So true

So true

It matters what you say to them.

It matters how you spend your time with them.

It matters how you make them feel.

It matters if you are real.

It matters how you love them with your whole heart and show affection.

It matters how you apologize and invite vulnerability to the table.

It matters how you encourage big dreams and tell them the sky is the limit.

It matters if you give them a safe place to land.

It matters if you are their biggest advocate and loudest cheerleader.

It matters if you teach them kindness by demonstrating it.

It matters if you wipe their tears away and put a bandaid on their scraped-up knee.

This parenting thing isn’t something to take lightly.

It’s a big job.

The biggest of them all.

But it’s one where we will keep showing up,
keep learning,
keep apologizing,
keep growing,
and keep offering every ounce of our hearts to see their little hearts soar.

It’s always good to catch up with friends and colleagues at the Royal College of Podiatry conference. Thanks to the organisers for all the hard work getting this conference sorted.

A large proportion of people with EDS and HSD appear to be resistant to local anaesthetics, such as topical creams or injections. This can make dentistry work, and other treatments, very challenging and painful.

Some people respond to a regular top-up of more anaesthetic during a procedure, and a longer waiting time for it to take effect. Some people respond to alternative anaesthetics. Some do not.

One study showed that "the most effective local anaesthetic agents among its EDS respondents were articaine, bupivacaine, and mepivacaine, with lidocaine and procaine reported as effective far less often. The most effective agent (articaine) was effective in only 30% of people with EDS." https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6834718/
