The acknowledgment of the family of Joseph (Joe) Shields R.I.P.

The family of the late Joseph (Joe) Shields Drumreagh Road Rostrevor would like to thank all those who sympathised with them on their recent bereavement.
Thank you to everyone who sent Mass offerings and sympathy cards and thank you to everyone who attended the wake and Joe's Requiem Mass. Special thanks to Fr. Des Mooney for celebrating Joe's Requiem Mass and to James and Gabriel for the beautiful music and singing.
Our gratitude is also extended to the doctors, nurses and carers of Warrenpoint Clinic for their care and attention, also Life and Time for their first class service.
Sincere thanks to Michael and Eugene of W.J. Sloan Funeral Director's Rostrevor for the professional handling of the funeral arrangements.
We would also like to thank Diamonds for the lovely food and to Fr. Matthew Branch of the Irish National Foresters for the use of their facilities.

The funeral arrangements for the late Brian Curran R.I.P.

Curran, Brian 21st December 2022. 41 St. Bronagh's Court Rostrevor. Son of the late James and Ellen R.I.P.
Brother to Leo and the late John, Joseph, Philip, Frances and Anthony R.I.P.
Brian's remains will return to Rostrevor on Tuesday the 14th of February 2023 at 6.45pm. His remains will pause briefly outside his former family home on Church Street, before being escorted to St. Mary's Star of the Sea Church Rostrevor for Benediction at 7pm.
Brian's Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 15th at 11am. Interment immediately afterwards in Kilbroney Cemetery.

Deeply regretted by his sorrowing brother, nephews and nieces; entire family circle, friends and neighbours.

Mulligan, Patricia (Pat) 11 Water Street Rostrevor. Beloved wife of the late Brian R.I.P. Devoted mother to Marianne R.I.P. Deirdre, David and Bernadette. A devoted grandmother to Aoife, Pearce, Cara, Katie, Ben, Ruby, Molly, Anna and Matt.

Deeply missed by her daugher-in-law Julieanne, sons-in-law Danny and Mark. Fondly missed by her brother Martin.
Pat's remains are reposing at her late residence tomorrow Friday the 3rd of February and Saturday the 4th of February from 11am to 9pm. House is strictly private on the day of the funeral which is Sunday 5th February. Pat's remain will leave her late residence at 12.45pm for 1pm Requiem Mass at St. Mary's Star of the Sea Church Rostrevor, interment immediately afterwards in Kilbroney Cemetary.
Deeply regretted by her sorrowing children, grandchildren, entire family circle, friends and neighbours.

The funeral arrangements for the late Joe Shields R.I.P.

Shields, Joseph (Joe) 17 Drumreagh Road Rostrevor. Who passed peacefully, Wednesday 18th January 2023.
Son of the late Thomas and Mary Catherine Shields.
Brother of the late Rose, Henry, James, Issac, Gerard, Barney and Mary.
Much loved uncle of Helena (Gribben) Tommy, Mary and Caroline Collins.
Uncle-in-law of Anne and the late P.J. Great uncle of Shane, Lisa and Clare.
Joe's remains will be reposing at his nephew's home 19 Drumreagh Road, Rostrevor.
His remains will leave his nephew's home at 10am Saturday the 21st of January for 11am Requiem Mass in St. Mary's Star of the Sea Church Rostrevor. Interment immediately afterwards in Kilbroney Cemetery. Deeply regretted by his sorrowing family, neighbours and friends.

Maureen Murray (nee Murphy)

Maureen Murray, aged 92, passed peacefully in her home on December 10th 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Her remains are reposing at her late residence 12 St. Jude's Gardens Rostrevor today, Sunday 11th December 12 St. Jude's from 11am - 8pm Sunday. Her remains will leave her late residence at 1.00pm on Monday, December 12th, for 1.30pm Requiem Mass in St. Mary's Star of the Sea Church, Rostrevor, interment afterwards in Kilbroney Cemetery.

She will be desperately missed by her devoted daughters, Cora, Marie, Collette, and Teresa, and the entire family circle.
