Bowel cancer is one of the most common cancers for both men and women. It is very important to be aware of possible symptoms or signs that may be linked to bowel cancer such as:

• changes in your bowel habit from your usual routine;

• blood in your bowel motion/poo;

• pain or lump in the tummy/abdomen, or in some cases bloating;

• feeling more tired than usual;

• losing weight, or noticing your clothes getting looser, with no clear reason for this.

There can be many causes for these symptoms but if you experience any of these for three weeks or longer, it’s always best to get them checked out by your GP.

Prescription Dispensing: Here at the Medical Hall we will provide you with your prescribed medicines, labelled correctly following the directions of a GP or your other healthcare provider who can write prescriptions e.g., Nurses, Dentists, Pharmacists. Information and advice to enable safe and effective use of the medicines supplied will also be provided.

Repeat Dispensing: This services enables patients with long term conditions to obtain repeat supplies of their medicines over a defined period of time.
