🎄 Merry Christmas! 🎄

That’s a wrap on classes for the 2025 season! The clinic will remain open until December 23, after which I’ll be taking a short break to rest, recharge, and reset.

I want to say a huge thank you to each and every one of you who joined me on the mat this year and trusted me with your injuries, rehabilitation, and movement goals. It has truly been a pleasure supporting you as you reduced pain, rebuilt strength, improved mobility, and experienced the many benefits of consistent movement.

Teaching and assisting you with rehabilitation has been an absolute joy, and I’m incredibly grateful for your commitment, positive energy, and trust throughout the year.

Thank you as well for the Google reviews and for recommending me to your friends and family. As a small business, these gestures go such a long way and mean more than you know.

I’m really looking forward to continuing to support you all in 2026, and there may even be some extra classes added to the timetable in 2026 — so watch this space! 👀

You’ll notice there are plenty of moments & people missing from the photos (including my entire pregnancy class!), but that’s because our space has always been about connection, conversation, and showing up for ourselves — not social media.

🎉🥳 BT35 Physiotherapy & Pilates is 1! 🥳🎉

I can’t believe it’s been a whole year already — it’s flown by so quickly! What started with just one class has grown into seven classes a week — from pregnancy mum & baby, to beginners, advanced, corporate, and sports club sessions.

It has also been my absolute pleasure to work with those of you who came to me for physiotherapy — whether recovering from a joint replacement, ACL surgery, or managing muscle/joint pain. Helping you achieve your goals and return to the things you love has been incredibly rewarding. I truly love my job, and it’s a privilege to be trusted with your recovery. 💪

I’ve been blown away by the incredible support from this community. Every share, like, review, or mention to a friend or family member has gone such a long way. For a small, solo business, these little acts truly make a massive difference — and I’m so grateful for every single one. 💕

We’ve only managed to capture a handful of photos, and they don’t show the whole story — many of our Saturday regulars, pregnancy groups, and other amazing class members aren’t pictured. That’s because we’re usually too busy focusing on getting stronger, improving our form, and catching up to stop for photos. The best memories are made in the moment!

Running this business hasn’t been easy — there have been plenty of late nights behind the scenes. I’m so thankful to my husband .e11iott for his endless support (and Excel skills!) and to my mum for stepping in with childcare. Without them, none of this would be possible. ❤️

Here’s to year one 🥂 and to many more years of moving, growing, and building this strong, supportive community together.

🌍💙 Happy World Physiotherapy Day!

Yesterday we celebrated the role of physiotherapy in healthy ageing — keeping people strong, independent, and doing what they love for longer.

This year’s focus is on preventing falls and frailty, and I feel so grateful to help people stay active, confident, and healthy — whether that means lifting your grandchildren, attending pilates, going to a ceili, or simply moving without fear.

✨ Remember: it’s never too late to work on your strength and balance. Your body will thank you, and every step of improvement makes a real difference to your independence and quality of life.

One of the most rewarding parts of my job is seeing people become pain free and able to get back to the things they love — that joy is truly priceless. 💙

1️⃣ Warm Up Right!
Get that blood flowing with 5-10 mins of dynamic moves like leg swings & arm circles 🏃‍♂️💨 — your muscles will thank you!

2️⃣ Nail Your Technique!
Bad form = injury risk 🚫. Use correct technique or get a pro to check your moves 👀✅.

3️⃣ Listen to Your Body!
Pain ≠ gain ❌! Sharp or persistent pain? Stop, rest, or see a physio ASAP 🛑🩺. Don’t forget 7-9 hrs of sleep 😴 to power recovery!

4️⃣ Cool Down & Stretch
Slow it down with 5-10 mins of cool down + stretching 🧘‍♀️✨ — goodbye soreness, hello flexibility!

5️⃣ Eat & Hydrate Like a Pro!
Fuel up with balanced meals 🍗🥦 + drink plenty of water 💧. Aim for 1.2–2g protein/kg daily for strong muscles 💪.
