McParland née Treanor (Newry) Ann RIP, passed away peacefully 30th July 2025, in Daisy Hill Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Dearly beloved wife of Sean, loving Mummy to John (Lorraine), Yvonne (Darren), Anthony (Niamh), Shauna and Sinead (Gary), cherished Grandmother of Brendan, Matthew, Sean, Aoibheann, Cliodhna, Darragh, Teagan, Eireann and Fíachra, dearest sister of Aileen, Martin, Cecelia, Margaret, Enda and the late Mary RIP, a much loved sister-in-law, aunt and friend.
Funeral arrangements updated- Ann’s remains will repose in her daughter and son in law’s residence 1 Shepherd’s Close, Newry, from 7pm on Wednesday evening until removal at 9:30am Friday morning for 10:30am Requiem Mass in Ss Patrick and Colman’s Cathedral Newry, interment in Monkshill Cemetery.
House private after 10pm each evening and on the morning of the funeral, respectfully.
The funeral cortège will drive from Shepherd’s Close to Plunkett St at 9:30am on Friday, walking from Plunkett St to the Cathedral and Monkshill.
Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by her entire family circle, friends and neighbours.

McLoone (Bessbrook) Danny RIP, passed away 17th July 2025, peacefully, in the care of his loving family.
Beloved husband to Eileen, loving father to Tony (Marian), Jackie (John), Paula (Andy) and Danny (Joanne), devoted Granda and Great Granda, cherished brother of Kathleen, Muriel, Geraldine, John, Joan and Paddy, a dear uncle, brother-in-law and friend.
Danny’s remains will repose in Mallon’s Funeral Home, Mill Rd, Bessbrook BT35 7DT, Thursday 6-8pm and Friday 12-2pm and 6-8pm.
Cortège leaving from Danny’s late residence 33 Cambrook Estate at 9:15am Saturday for 10am Requiem Mass in St Malachy’s Church Carrickcruppen followed by 1pm cremation in Dardistown Crematorium, Santry.
Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family circle and many friends.

Danny’s family will be forever grateful to the medical teams who gave Danny such dedicated care and dignity throughout, Drs McKernan and Higgins, the district nursing teams and all who enabled Danny’s care at home to give comfort to all.

We, the family of the late Thomas Sarsfield, would like to express our sincere gratitude to all who sympathised with us on our recent sad bereavement.

Thank you to Fr Sean Larkin for celebrating the Requiem Mass and to Kathleen and Andrew Moore and Terry Rafferty for the beautiful singing and music and all those who helped in any way during the Mass.

Special thanks to Craigavon Area Hospital, Dr Flood and L&B Care team for their dedication to Thomas’ care.

Finally, our sincere thanks to Daniel Mallon Funeral Director and staff for their dignified and professional service and care and respect shown to our family at this most difficult time.

Burns (Bessbrook) Frank RIP, passed away peacefully 8th July 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Loving husband to Kathleen, father of Frances, grandfather of Caleb, cherished son of the late Thomas and Bridie RIP, much loved brother of Eilish, Brendan, Michael, Paul and Dermot.
Frank’s remains will return home walking from the Chapel Corner at approximately 5:45pm Wednesday evening.
Frank’s remains will repose at his late residence 55 The Gardens, Bessbrook, Wednesday evening from 6pm-9pm and 12pm-9pm on Thursday and Friday.
Funeral leaving at 10:30am Saturday for 12:30pm Service in Dardistown Crematorium, Santry, Dublin, friends are most welcome to accompany Frank on his journey to Dardistown and attend the service.
Family home private, respectfully on Saturday morning.

Months mind and Acknowledgement for the late Mr Micky Sarsfield RIP, of Slieve
Gullion Road, The Meadow.

We the Family of the late Micky Sarsfield would like to express our deepest
appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all who offered such kindness, support,
messages of sympathy and comfort during the loss of our daddy.
Many thanks to those who attended the wake and Funeral and brought
refreshments to the house.
A Special thank you especially to Ann and John Craven for their continued support,
care and guidance, We can not express how much we appreciate everything you
have done for us.

We would also like to thank Spar Patrick Street and Whitegates Shop & Community
centre for their kind donations, refreshments etc.
We thank Fr Alphonsus for celebrating Daddys funeral mass which was so
meaningful, beautiful and extremely comforting to us.

To each and every member of staff in SAHS, we can never thank you enough for the
care, attention , compassion shown to daddy during his time with you over the last

Month’s Mind notice and acknowledgment for the late Mrs Margaret “Margie” Moan RIP, late of John F Kennedy Park, Bessbrook.

The Month’s Mind Mass for Margaret- Margie Moan RIP, late of Kennedy Park Bessbrook will take place on Sunday 29th June at 11am in St Catherine's Dominican Church Newry, with refreshments in the adjoining Chapel Hall after Mass.

We, Margie’s family, sons Raymond Damien and Gerard would like to thank all those who helped us through the time of mother’s short Illness and funeral service.
Our sincere thanks to Anns home care and the Amber ward in Daisy Hill Hospital for their dedication to Margie’s care.
We especially thank Fr Sean Larkin, Fr Liam McKinney and Deacon Philip for the beautiful and personal Requiem Mass, the musicians Cliona, Gary and organist Terry for the wonderful enhancement of Mass through their music and hymns.
Thanks to all those who attended the wake and funeral, the management and staff of Flagstaff Lodge and of course Daniel Mallon Funeral Director for a dignified and professional service from the outset.

We, the family of the late Alice Kane, wish to thank all who supported us on the recent bereavement of our loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
We wish to thank all who visited the family home to offer sympathies, brought Mass cards and bouquets and sent messages of condolence.
Special thanks to the dedicated staff of Southern Area Hospice for their dignified care of Alice in her last weeks, your kindness will never be forgotten.
