McCourt (Bessbrook) Richard "Richie" RIP, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home, 24th November 2025.
Beloved husband of the late Patricia RIP, devoted father to Joe (Anne) and Sean, loving Granda to Cameron, dearest brother of Margaret and the late Molly and Benny RIP, a cherished brother in law, uncle, neighbour and friend.
Richie's remains will repose in Mallon's Funeral Home Mill Rd, Bessbrook BT35 7DT from 6-8pm on Monday and Tuesday evening.
Requiem Mass 11am Wednesday 26th November in the Church of the Good Shepherd Cloughreagh, interment in Ss Peter and Paul's Cemetery Bessbrook.

We the son Shane, loving partner Sharon and her sons Shane & Conor along with our families wish to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported us since the passing of our beloved Peter.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the staff of Newtownhamilton health centre, Clarke’s pharmacy, the district nursing team, palliative care team and Craigavon area hospital for their exceptional care kindness, support and compassion during Peter’s illness. A special thanks also to all of his lifelong friends who visited him at this time as your presence brought him great comfort and will always be remembered.
Heartfelt appreciation to Fr Murphy for his pastoral care and support to Peter and our family.
Our thanks to Daniel Mallon for his professionalism, guidance and support with all the funeral arrangements. To Gavin & Naomi Gribben for their beautiful singing which made Peter’s mass so personal and memorable.
We also wish to thank the Belleek Country House for the beautiful food and warm hospitality provided after the funeral, it was greatly appreciated by all.
We offer our deepest appreciation to all our kind friends and neighbours, to all who helped during the wake, who called to the house, brought food, flowers, mass and sympathy cards, your presence and your kind words brought us great comfort during our time of pain & loss. Knowing how much Peter was loved and thought of means more to us than words can ever express.
