between. Patients can self-fund their treatments here, or can fund their treatments through their private health insurance. Additionally, Newry Private Clinic welcomes patients from the Republic of Ireland, who can have their treatments here through the Cross-Border directive.

We are delighted to be one of the sponsors of Meadowlands Newry Fc "Battle of the Border" football tournament taking place in Newry on 1st - 3rd August. The tournament will welcome over 85 teams from across Ireland and the UK, with more than 1,000 children taking part across six age categories, including two girls’ divisions. This is an exciting new grassroots initiative bringing communities together through sport. 🏆

Cervical Screening Saves Lives 💙

Cervical cancer is one of the most preventable cancers and regular screening can stop it before it starts.

We want to remind everyone how important it is to attend your cervical screening when invited. Regular cervical screening appointments can prevent up to 75% of instances of cervical cancer, saving 5000 lives per year.

Screening checks for high-risk types of HPV that can cause changes to the cells in your cervix. These changes can be treated early, long before they become cancer.

If you’ve missed your last smear test, don’t wait, contact your GP to book an appointment.

Celebrating 1 Year as an Independent RQIA Registered Hospital

June 2025 marks ONE YEAR since Newry Private Clinic became the first clinic in Newry to gain a Private Hospital accreditation from the RQIA.

Reflecting on the past 12 months we have:
