Today's Workplace Wellbeing webinair was all about supporting our Mental Health in the Workplace. To do this, we need to be able to recognise a decline in our mental health and know where to go for support.

I work with organisations and 1-2-1 clients to to help them find strategies and tools to support their employees and individuals with their health and wellbeing.

Wishing you and yours a Merry Christmas, whatever that looks like for you this year. You may be feeling happy, sad, gratitude. melancholy, grieving, or a mix of many different emotions. This time of year isn't always filled with joy for many people. I've been staying away from social media this month, taking many deep breaths and spending a bit more time enjoying solitude. And, it has really helped me navigate a lot of the noise in the world.

If things feel overwhelming right now, close your eyes, connect to your inhale and exhale, and just breathe. It won't make all the tough stuff go away, but it might help you to be with it just that little but easier, even for today.

Go easy on yourself....you are doing great ❤️

One of my favourite parts of my job is doing cookery demos. In-person is my definite favourite, but otherwise, online works just as well. Wednesday evening, I had a group joining me from San Franciso, all geared up to learn how to prepare delicious and simple nutritious dishes.

We opted for Vegetable Lentil Soup and Hummus, made 3 different ways including Roasted Beetroot hummus and Roasted Red Pepper & Walnut hummus - delicious ❤️

These are super sessions for bring ease abd fun to cooking, with a focus on great quality raw ingredients.

My top tip here is buy the best that you can for oils, salts, peppers, tinned tomatoes, organic pulses, and organic herbs and slices, where possible. You really will taste the difference.

If you are an organisation or group that are interested in cookery workshops (bith online and in person), feel free to DM me for more information.

I have some very special groups that I work with in Northern Ireland, and this is one of them. Every person takes something different from our sessions together. I am passionate about combining nutrition and breathwork together, and it works so well. Good health is about many different parts, and for me, these 2 modalities work perfectly together.

If you are a group or organisation and would like to know more about how I can support your group, please send me a DM.

Yesterday's Corporate workshop with a client in Europe was focused on awareness of the different pillars of health that help support a positive mindset. We discussed Hope / Self Efficacy / Resilience & Optimism. In the psychology world, this is termed Psychological Capital. All these pillars support is to adapt to the challenges of life and persistent, even in the face of adversity.

Research shows cultivating and strengthening these pillars can contribute to a more positive workplace, foster collaboration, and increase job performance and satisfaction. It also contributes to good mental health.

How do you support a positive mindset in your own life? I would love to hear 😀

Today's Workplace Wellbeing session was focused on Work-Life Balance - something I've been focusing closely on personally over the last couple of years. Creating solid boundaries between my personal and work days has been a game changer for me.

We chatted about boundaries, assertiveness, effective communication with others, self-care and how to identify where you feel out of balance. Reflecting on this regularly is so important in order to address imbalances in our lives.

Do you have a good Work-Life balance? What do you do to maintain this on a continual basis? Comment below and share your thoughts.

This week in my corporate wellbeing sessions, my audience was based in the US, and we chatted all things Immunity and Steps to Better Sleep. Both of these topics are so closely connected.

When we sleep well, our body repairs itself, and we feel really good. But, if you are like me and struggle with menopausal poor sleep, then you may have found your immunity not as strong as it used to be. There is no doubt that those who sleep less than 7 hours per night are more susceptible to picking up colds and infections.

How many hours sleep do you get per night? Do you wake often in the night? Do you wake feeling refreshed in the morning? Or do you feel like you drag yourself through your day after a poor night's sleep? I would love to hear your thoughts on this

☀️

After some fabulous, relaxing holiday time off in the sunshine, I'll be back at work for a few weeks from Tuesday 22nd July and answering emails then.

I've reverted back to my old Summer working hours from previous years and will not be taking on new clients until September or taking new bookings for any new workshops over July and August.

However, feel free to forward enquiries to me for September. I'm delighted to be offering more indepth behaviour change coaching on top of my usual services - a great addition for long-lasting behaviour change.

DM me with any questions.

Time off is a non-negotiable for me, especially during Summer months. As always, you can send me a message via the contact form on my website.

Yesterday's corporate workshop was all about Good Gut Health. We talked about the Gut-Brain connection, our microbiome, exercise to increase microbiota diversity, and much more.

Aim for 30-40 different plant varieties every week, including beans, lentils, chickpeas, starchy, and non starchy veg varieties. Why not set yourself a challenge for the next week?

Are there foods that you know are perhaps causing digestive symptoms such as bloating, diarrhoea, constipation, or wind? Perhaps try removing those foods for 7 days, and keep a food journal to track how you feel before gently reintroducing them to gauge the effect.

Poor gut health has been linked to lower levels of serotonin, our happy hormone 😀. This may show up as low mood, lack of motivation, or even poor s.

Check in with your gut today to see how you are doing.

Good Food Nutrition

I work with women who want to take back control of their body and health, lose those stubborn extra pounds, enjoy increased energy and better sleep and feel more energetic every day even when lack of time, motivation or old habits seem to stop them reaching their health goals. For many women, their hormones cause havoc when they out of balance. This is where I help using nutrition and lifestyle recommendations to help you feel more balanced and healthier. As a result, my clients enjoy long term weight loss without ever again dieting, feel less stressed, more alive and happier than they have felt in years and, best of all, feel fitter and more energetic to take whatever life throws at them.

Does any of this sound like you right now? Have you fallen out of love with your body? Is weight gain affecting your self-confidence? Would you like to feel more energetic, happier and fabulous every day even when you are short of time, focus and motivation? Perhaps daily stress and bad eating habits are sabotaging your weight loss goals. Maybe you feel that your hormones are taking over your body - and not in a good way. Imagine having lots more energy and better work/life balance every day. Perhaps you just long for a good night’s sleep and wake up feeling full of energy. Are you totally confused by all the “healthy eating” information out there? If any of the above sounds familiar then it’s time to get your ZING back, love life and feel fabulous again.

I’m Aine Boyle, a Registered Nutritional Therapist, Health Coach & Chef. I passionately believes food that tastes great can also benefit your health and wellbeing long term. My Health & Wellbeing Programmes are designed to fit with your own personal circumstances. Each programme is personalised to your own particular health and wellbeing needs and together we work towards reaching your health and weight goals.

I offer 1-to-1 consultations, group programmes, corporate wellbeing services (online and face-to-face) to help you reach personal health goals. I also run regular Workshops that combine cookery demonstrations with health talks. To find out more information, please contact Aine on Mobile: +44 7833 740043 or visit https://www.goodfoodnutrition.co.uk/. I offer 30 minute free consultations to see how nutritional therapy can help you.
