Holy s**t. I was not expecting that.

I went to see Emma at Gentle Giants Healing with Horses today. Stood with Indy the horse and I felt everything just leave my body. Everything.

Equine therapy works because the horse asks absolutely nothing of you. They can sense your energy, your nervous system, before you’ve even notice it yourself. Indy just stood with me and I felt it.

Emma said it’s because they’re prey animals. Wired to feel everything around them.

I believe her I’d lie in that field for days 😂

They do incredible work with autistic kids, go into schools, and offer one to ones as well.

Journaling has been part of my life for twelve years. Not because I have it figured out, but because it gives my mind a little bit of space.

I learned a long time ago that you don’t always need to analyse a feeling.

Sometimes you just need to sit in it. Journaling helps it move.

I very rarely go back and read what I write. It’s not about the words. It’s about the awareness. Knowing where
I am and what’s happening underneath. Once it’s on the page, it’s done.

Apologies for being a bit MIA on here.

Training has been kicking my ass.

As my yoga teacher says, you can’t teach what you don’t do.

So I’m in the midst of it. Going back over old ground, sitting with old stories, reminding myself that healing isn’t linear and we are only ever human.

If you’re battling your own mind, know you’re not alone.

Today I’m grateful for self-belief. For how far I’ve come. For ice cream with a flake, good coffee, and my thinking spot in Rostrevor.

Be kind to yourself. It’s your job.

Women’s Circle
Clarity | Confidence | Connection

A new 4 week Women’s Circle begins Thursday 26 March at Finding Solas @7.30pm.

This is a small group of women coming together each week to pause, breathe and reconnect with themselves in a calm and supportive space.

Life can feel busy and overwhelming. Many women spend so much time caring for others that they slowly lose connection with themselves.

This circle is a place to slow down.

Over four evenings we focus on three things.

Clarity
Through journaling and guided reflection you begin to quiet the noise and hear your own voice again.

Confidence
A grounded confidence that grows from trusting yourself and reconnecting with your inner strength.

Connection
We were never meant to do life alone. This circle offers a safe and supportive space to sit with women who understand the pressures of modern life.

Each evening includes

Gentle grounding practices
Breathwork to calm the nervous system
Journaling and guided reflection
Honest conversation and connection

You’ll also leave with simple tools to help you navigate modern life with more calm, clarity and confidence.

There is no pressure to speak. Many women come simply to listen, reflect and take time for themselves.

Seven years ago I was teaching yoga for Clanrye when I first came to Newry. Tonight I got to welcome your team into Finding Solas.
