With all your support over the years, Iúr Cinn Fleadh has scooped Overall Winner in the Arts, Heritage And Culture section of the Chairperson's Civic Awards. Newry BID were delighted to host a Chef Bootcamp in partnership with Southern Regional College and Newry, Mourne and Down District Council to encourage individuals to pursue a career in the hospitality sector in Newry.

Thank You to our BID members Canal Court Hotel & Spa, The Cozy Corner and Loft 27 for catering the event.

Newry BID was delighted to promote and support the recent 'Big Apprenticeship' Event with our partner and member, Southern Regional College.

This took place during Apprenticeship NI Week. Apprenticeships play an extremely important role for many of our member businesses and help build careers in our city centre.

Our partnership with SRC extends beyond apprenticeships to offering a wide range of training and support for our members. For further information, please contact us via DM.

Did you see us out and about yesterday delivering our 'Random Stacks of Kindness'? 🥞😍

We had more than 120 nominations for fabulous businesses in Newry city centre who you felt deserved some treats! 🥞

Working with the fab team in Loft 27 we got around as many as we could with 15 pancake stacks delivered to different businesses ✅

What a Day.... we have been out delivering 'Random Stacks of Kindness' all day. We had so many nominations for fabulous businesses in Newry city centre. 👏👏👏
Thank you to everyone who nominated and thank you to the amazing team who kept us 'stacked' up all day.

We tried to get around as many of the nominated businesses as we could with 14 stacks delivered in total.

📣 THE NORTHERN IRELAND FIRE AND RESCUE SERVICE RECRUITMENT EVENT

NIFRS are holding information sessions tailored for women who are thinking of becoming On-Call Firefighters. These events are being held before On-Call recruitment applications open. The sessions provide women with the opportunity to ask questions and experience what the role involves.

More information sessions will be held throughout the duration of the campaign and are open to everyone.

📍Newry - Saturday 21 February @ 12pm - 2pm

Under 18’s: Please note whilst the minimum age to attend this event is 17, if you are under 18 you may be accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 18.
