When life surprises us with the unexpectedโ€ฆ
It can feel like the ground shifts beneath our feet.
In those moments, pause. Breathe. Return to what soothes.
Here are a few gentle things you can do in the moment to bring calm and strength:
โ€ข Place your hand on your heart + breathe slowly
โ€ข Sip warm herbal tea โ€” like chamomile or dandelion
โ€ข Take your shoes off and stand on the earth
โ€ข Repeat a calming affirmation: โ€œI am held, even in the unknown.โ€
โ€ข Lightly massage your temples or shoulders
โ€ข Soak your feet in warm water with a drop of lavender
โ€ข Allow tears if they come โ€” they carry wisdom and release too
You donโ€™t need to do everything.
