You were always there when we needed you, no task too great or small, with loving heart and willing hands, for us you did it all.
We miss your smile, your joking ways, we miss the things you used to say and when old times we do recall, it’s then we miss you most of all.

First Anniversary Mass for 𝗟𝗼𝘂𝗶𝘀 will be celebrated on Sunday, 24th May 2026, in St. Patrick's Church, Cullyhanna at 11.30 am.

**𝐀𝐜𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐨𝐦 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐲**

The family of the late 𝐓𝐨𝐦 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐲 RIP wish to express our deep appreciation for the love and support shown to us during our recent bereavement. Our heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised with us on the loss of a much-loved husband, father, grandad and brother.

We wish to offer our heartfelt thanks to our many friends, neighbours and extended family circle and all who called to our home, brought food, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters and messages of condolence, floral tributes, and to all those who travelled from near and far to attend 𝐓𝐨𝐦’𝐬 wake and funeral. A special word of thanks to our family and friends who helped in our home during the wake. Your generosity, support and presence, meant more to us than words can express.

We are profoundly grateful to the dedicated teams of carers from Connected Health and The Trust, and to the nurses from the Newtownhamilton Clinic who looked after 𝐓𝐨𝐦 at home with such dignity, compassion, and kindness. We will be forever grateful for the care and comfort you give to 𝐓𝐨𝐦 and to us.

Our sincere appreciation is also extended to the Carers and Nursing staff of Avila Nursing Home Bessbrook for their excellent care, treatment and attention to 𝐓𝐨𝐦 during his stay with them. Your support and help will never be forgotten.

We would like to extend a very sincere thanks to Rev Canon Michael Toner for his pastoral visits to 𝐓𝐨𝐦 both at home and in Avila nursing home and for celebrating such a beautiful and meaningful requiem mass. We also thank him for visiting our home and leading prayers during the wake. All of this has brought great comfort to our family.

We are also thankful to Patricia and Joe McCrink for the lovely music and singing throughout the requiem mass. To James & Gary (Murlan House) for the beautiful flowers, and to the grave digger Andrew for the care taken in the preparation of 𝐓𝐨𝐦’𝐬 final resting place.

Our thanks are also extended to St Patrick’s G.F.C. for the use of their premises following the funeral, and for arranging the guards of honour who lined the final route to the chapel, and to John Murray and staff for the lovely food and warm hospitality after the funeral mass.

Finally, we wish to thank Seamus and Aisling of Murray Funeral Directors for their compassion and professionalism throughout 𝐓𝐨𝐦’𝐬 wake and funeral. Their guidance and support were deeply appreciated.

As it would be impossible to individually thank all those whose kindness has brought such comfort to us, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation during this difficult time.

We, the family of the late Eugene (Gene) McNulty R.I.P. would like to express our sincere and heartfelt gratitude to everyone who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement.

Thank you to our extended family, friends and neighbours for your support and prayers, your kind messages of condolence, to those who sent flowers, food, attended the wake, sent mass cards and sympathy cards and came to the funeral.

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the Trust Carers for looking after Eugene, with dignity, respect and compassion in his home over the last number of years.

To all the Nurses, Doctors & Medical Staff in The Resus Unit in A+E and Floor 5 in Daisy Hill Hospital, for their kindness and care during Eugene’s admission there. Thank you to the District Nurses, Dr. Larkin and Dr. Nicholl with staff in Newtownhamilton Health Centre. Eugene always wanted to remain in his own home, with your support, we couldn’t have done this without you. Thank you to the staff of Cullyhanna Pharmacy.

Our sincere thank you to Canon Toner for celebrating the requiem mass and for his homily, visits to see Eugene at home and in hospital.

We are also thankful to Dearbhla Nixon for the beautiful music throughout the requiem mass. To James Murray (Murlan House) for the beautiful flowers and to Andrew Stephenson for the grave preparation. Thank you to St Patrick’s G.F.C. for the use of their premises after the funeral and to John Murray and Staff for the beautiful food.

Deeply loved and sadly missed by your children Fergal and Michelle (Armstrong). Grandchildren Daniel, Carrieann, Cathal, Emma, Séauna and Natasha. Sister Pauline (Murphy, Newcastle), nieces, nephews and entire family circle.

𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐲 – (𝐂𝐨. 𝐀𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐡) – 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟑𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 – 𝐓𝐨𝐦 passed away peacefully in Avila Nursing Home, surrounded by his loving family. Loving husband of Doreen. Cherished father of Rory, Pádraigín (McEvoy), Niall, Brenna and John. Father-in-law of Sean, Aisling and Sara. Grandfather of Aodhan, Ciara, Áine, Dáire, Dillon and Gaibriél. Brother of Malachy, Patricia (Crawley) and the late Patrick and Bernard R.I.P..

Tom will repose at his family home, 4 Tullynavall Road, Cullyhanna, BT35 0PZ, from Thursday. This will be Private for family only.
The family will welcome visitors Friday and Saturday from 1pm.
Tom will be removed from his late residence on Easter Sunday 5th April at 11.10am to St Patrick’s Church, Cullyhanna for 11.30am requiem mass. Burial in the adjoining cemetery. House will be private for family only the morning of the funeral.

We, the family of the late Fiona Sims (RIP), would like to express our sincere and heartfelt gratitude to everyone who sympathised with us during our recent tragic bereavement.

Thank you to our extended family, friends, and neighbours for your support and prayers, your kind messages of condolence, to those who sent flowers, attended the wake, sent Mass or sympathy cards, and came to the funeral.

A heartfelt thank you to those who brought or sent food to the house, and to all who helped with refreshments. Also, a thank-you to those who assisted in stewarding during the wake.

We offer our sincere thanks to Canon Toner, assisted by Fr. Malachy Conlon, for celebrating such a beautiful Requiem Mass. A warm word of thanks to Dearbhla Dixon for the beautiful singing and music as well as the preparation of the mass booklets, which added so much to the funeral service.

Our sincere thanks also to Mona McEntee and her staff for providing the meal after the funeral, and to St. Patrick’s GFC for the generous use of their premises.

We are truly thankful to Murray’s Funeral Directors for their kindness, support, and the dignified and respectful manner in which all the wake and funeral arrangements were carried out.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgment will be accepted as a heartfelt expression of our appreciation and gratitude to all who supported our family in any way.
