In my counselling sessions, I work a lot with exploring an experience to find acceptance. When we explore it, we can understand it differently, and we can learn to let go of the battle we may have with that part of our life 💙

We can choose how we react. As difficult as that may be sometimes! We can learn to be calm so that we don't react emotionally to someone or something that could be triggering for us. When we react emotionally, the outcome is often negative or at least uncomfortable for us and maybe those around us. Being self-aware, learning about yourself in whatever way works for you, can help you be more in control of your emotional response 🩵
