🌿 5 Years of South Dartmoor Care – A Journey of Compassion and Courage 🌿

This month marks 5 years since I began South Dartmoor Care — a small, independent service offering care from the heart.

I started during the uncertainty of COVID, wanting to make a difference in my local community. Then in 2022, I lost my beloved husband to Motor Neurone Disease (MND). Caring for him showed me what true dignity, empathy and support really mean — and those values continue to guide every part of the care I give.

To everyone who has welcomed me into their lives, trusted me, and shared their stories — thank you. You’ve made these five years meaningful beyond words.

Here’s to continuing to care with kindness, connection, and love for our Dartmoor community. 💚

I would like to thank everyone for their support and messages during the sad passing of my husband who was diagnosed with a fast progressing MND last year.
