INTRODUCTION

Idk if I’ve got many new faces here but I realised I don’t have anything about me on my page!

My name is Roxan, I go by Roxie/ Rox & I am a Wife, a Mum to an Angel Baby 👼 & a PlasmaPen specialist.

I’ve maintained an interested in the Beauty Industry for well over a decade now - working in various different roles but was predominantly a Spa Therapist.. massage is my bread and butter, I find it as therapeutic as the recipient and I will never stop!

I have also had the pleasure of running a small wellness area at a luxury holiday park before realising I am more comfortable working on a 1:1 basis in a more private setting. I was there for a few years.

I started studying skin 3-4 years ago (made some mistakes along the way but ALWAYS learn from them - we are only human!) I now have a great understanding of skin but there will forever more be room for improvement, I will never express that I know everything!

I have recently become a PlasmaPen specialist using and I LOVE it. The results are absolutely incredible for wrinkle reduction, skin lifting & so much more. a mission of mine is to help others understand it better!! (Bad technicians = bad results).

My husband and I are almost joined at the hip and do everything together - I wouldn’t have it any other way!
I love inline skating, paddle boarding, mixing, djembe, disco house, uk garage, jungle, dancing, new skincare technology & more!
I can be found at music events, the beach, at home (mostly), or in my studio treating amazing people.

I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy we named Don. He weighed a whopping 10lbs and is holding a huge space in our hearts. He passed in utero in the evening of the day I heard his heartbeat.
I also have another amazing boy in my life - my husbands son. He’s caring, cheeky and a little crazy!

We also have a dog - she is a Doberman cross Australian Shepherd and is the most gentle, sweetest and loyal lady 🫶

THICC - GLOWY:

Thick skin requires a lil more patience and luv - it takes longer to respond and adjust.

It’s not all gloom though - thicker skin means you’ll age better cos wrinkles won’t be as prominent!

I hear you tho, you see the girls with the reflective foreheads and wonder ‘why not me’ - well I’m here to tell you it’s mostly genetics and/ or a period of time on steroids creams such as roaccutane.

Thin skin comes with its own issues too so don’t go slathering on the tretinoin just because.

If you have thicker, textured skin like myself, here are some steps you can take:

Use a daily gentle chemical exfoliant.
Use a retinAL every evening.
Use an Enzyme peel fortnightly.

You need to keep on top of cell turnover & banish dead cells from ever forming and dulling your skin.

Always proceed with caution tho, don’t use anything too often if it’s sensitising you.

Plasma energy causes the skin to shrink by way of sublimation (solid - gas).

It’s a superficial thermal injury but this doesn’t mean it’s unsafe or “just burning your face”.

Without that thermal energy you are not going to receive those tightening effects that really make a difference.

Morpheus 8? Uses heat.
HiFu? Uses heat.
Radio Frequency? Uses heat.
Co2 Laser? Uses heat.
Plasma? Uses heat.

Healing for one week? 🙅‍♀️

I put myself through a PlasmaPen treatment using techniques: Spray Peel and Baby Plasma.

Albeit not as intense as the full Plasma procedure (with the dots) but I still managed to give my skin some help in regard to subtle lifting, smoothing and refinement.

My eyes appear more open, brows slightly lifted, skin is smoother and more glowy.
My glabella (muscle in between eyebrows) is not as puffy which would really make itself known when I frown… which is a lot. And I was insecure about it - no one I know had a meaty glabella like I did! Now it’s smooth and tight 🥰

My pores are not has big - this will reduce over the next few weeks as my cells remodel my skin structure by introducing more collagen type 1 & 3, elastin and glucosaminoglycans (think hyaluronic acid).

Smoother texture = even light distribution = less micro-shadowing.

This plasma procedure is worthy in its own right but does not yield the same tightening effects as full plasma 🪄

idk I like to do iconic sh*t… 🪄

✨ Plasma peels & baby plasma are a bit like tobasco on the tongue.. so I dunno about you but I want to feel as comfortable as possible when having more aggressive procedures.
