The year in review: December journalling prompts

How is it December already? This year does seem to have disappeared more quickly than others, however I wonder how much has really happened in my life?
For the month of December, I will be posting daily journalling prompts. You don’t need to write a 1000 word essay - you could simply write a sentence or two. Either way, it might be a nice habit to get into and allow you to really think about and review 2025. Also, it’s a good excuse to use that notebook that you bought ages ago and haven’t yet dared to use in case you ruin it!

It’s mental health week and to be honest, the world isn’t great at the moment. Recognising that you’re struggling and reaching out for help makes such a difference. The littlest of things can bring moments of joy. I was just looking out of my kitchen window and something caught my eye - a tiny mouse peeking out from a gap under my decking! I still have a smile on my face 10 minutes later ❤️

I decided to have a play with some paint while I was feeling a bit down yesterday; even though it’s not exactly a masterpiece, the joy this little painting has given me is priceless! Doing something creative can give you such a boost when you need it!
P.S. It’s a dog 😂😂😂

Whatever you’re doing today, try to take some time out to just relax. With such a busy week ahead of me, I’m having a restful day at home with my daughter, with no pressure to do anything or go anywhere ❤️
