We're grateful for another amazing donation from Blue Cross Devon of dog and cat food that we received yesterday. Our supplies of these often run low, but it's great that we can work with other charities to get what we need and support our clients.

If you would like to make a donation of pet food to us (cat and dog food, wet and dry), please ensure that it's in date and unopened. We prefer smaller bags and packets where possible.

Due to a new development from our main food supplier, we are now going to open the Teign Community Store on Thursday afternoons. We will soon be ready to share all the details about this exciting new venture.

We are still looking for volunteers to join the team and support our manager, Joe, with running the store week-to-week. We're looking to build up a team of 10 to 12 people with the aim of volunteering on a fortnightly basis. We know that sometimes it can be tricky to remember to donate to the Foodbank when you're out shopping, especially if you have the kids in tow!

By supporting us financially, you can help the Foodbank out without having to leave the house. Giving financially means that we can budget better for the year ahead, whilst also allowing us to buy the stock we need for our food parcels, hygiene and cleaning packs and home start packs.

If you're able to support us financially, you can do so via our website (https://www.thatfoodbank.com/donations) where you can make a one-off donation or set up a monthly donation. Any donation, whether big or small, is very much appreciated!

If you're a UK tax payer and you already donate to us (or have done in the past three years), please contact us to complete a Gift Aid form (if you haven't already).

We've still got bread, crumpets and some fruit and veg left. We're open tomorrow between 10am and 1pm for people to collect some - no referral needed.

We've taken a large delivery of bread, crumpets, fruit and veg, and some mystery Greggs bakes from Newton Abbot Rotary following their monthly pop-up food market at Newton Abbot Racecourse.

If you'd like to come and pick some up tomorrow (no referral needed) please bring your own bags and visit us at our shop in Buckland between 10am and 1pm. This is open to everyone.

If you're able to donate anything to us at the moment, we'd be grateful for donations of any of the following things. We know things are tough for lots of people at the moment, but any and all donations make a huge difference to our work in supporting residents across the Teignbridge District.

We have a number of collection points across Newton Abbot or you can drop them off directly to us at our shop in Buckland.

We've been working on something a little bit special over the past couple of months... and we're delighted to finally be able to share it with you! There are lots more details to follow but right now we are appealing for help.

Our work on this project is far from complete and one of the crucial things that we need are volunteers to help run the Teign Community Store alongside our manager, Joe. Our co-chair, Jean, was delighted to receive a cheque for £1000 from Rotary Newton Abbot on Tuesday evening.
