Within the yin symbol there is a small dot - yang.
within the Yang symbol there is a small dot of Yin.
Within eache chakra there are both masculine and feminine energies.
Some 'things' in life are mainly yin - yet there will always be an element of Yang.
Some things in life are mainly yang - yet there will alwatys be an element of Yin.
The amount varies greatly.
As a general rule Yoga is ( and was meant to be originally) mainly Yin in nature.
Pilates, as Joseph Pilates intended it to be performed, it is mainly Yang in nature.
As with most things in life there is cross over. Yoga may indeed exhibit yang tendencies.
Pilates ( especially its modern practice, may be performed slightly more yin like.
There is no 'either' 'or' in life.

How I Became a Seriously Successful Pilates Teacher
Once upon a time, I was told you can’t make a living as a Pilates teacher.
“Don’t you need a business degree to do something like that?”
“Wouldn’t it be better to get a real job?”
“It’s not actually going to be sustainable, is it?”
Everyone doubted it would work. They thought it would be impossible to survive doing something like that.
And I’ll admit, yes, it was hard... But was it worth it?
Absolutely! Now I get to spend time with my family whenever I like!
In fact, doing my Pilates teacher training was the best thing I ever did.
Since seeing how much it improved my life, I made it my mission to teach other people the same thing.
Not one of them has any prior teaching, business, or marketing knowledge. They all start from the same place I did. I then help each and every one of them to start living life on their own terms.
