A little less red meat wouldn’t hurt either 🥩

But people seem to struggle to know how to plate a meal without the meat chunk…. So here’s my top ways to eat less meat

To start with, go easy.

🥦Start with a Meatless Monday: Dedicate one day a week to a meat-free meal or even a full day of eating.

🥦Go one meal at a time: Gradually reduce meat in your meals, perhaps starting with breakfast or lunch.

✨Top meat replacements to bulk up your meals:

Beans & legumes
Tofu & tempeh
Meat alternatives (vegan mince, sausages etc)
Fruit & veg
Grains

✨And my top ways to modify your meals….

🥩Instead of relying on meat as the main component, use smaller portions and bulk up dishes with vegetables, beans, or other plant-based proteins

🌶️ Use spices, herbs, and sauces to add flavor to your plant-based meals, making them more satisfying

🧑‍🍳 Don't be afraid to experiment with new recipes and cuisines that feature plant-based meals

You don’t need a label. Don't feel pressured to completely eliminate meat when eating out or at social gatherings

But my top tip, is to explore! TikTok, recipe books, google…. There’s some delicious meals out there!

I eat a lot of vegetarian meals. But I also eat chicken. Don’t you hate that everything has to be labelled now?

Am I a vegetarian? Nope. But I can enjoy plenty of veggie meals each week.

The most important thing is health and nutrition. If your plate is nutritious, who cares what’s on it.
