Our very own Joanne Palmer has been shortlisted for the Outstanding Contribution category at the national Leading Women in Care Awards 2026.

Jo has been recognised for her compassion, resilience and the truly person-centred care she provides to our clients every single day. Out of thousands of nominations across the UK care sector, Jo is one of just six finalists and one of only two Home Instead colleagues nationally to be shortlisted.

It is such a fantastic achievement and we couldn’t be prouder of her.

💻 Taking our Digital Drop-In sessions on the road!

This photo was taken at one of our recent digital drop-in sessions when we visited Sach Lodge in Torquay. It was great to spend time with residents and offer some friendly support with technology.

We know many of our clients and people in the community can sometimes struggle with technology or simply want a bit of advice. Whether it’s learning how to use mobiles, tablets and laptops, staying safe online, or finding ways to stay connected with loved ones, we’re always happy to help.

That’s why we run free pop-up digital support sessions across South Devon, West Exeter and Teignbridge. We can visit care homes, community groups, businesses or local cafés to provide relaxed, one-to-one help with all things tech.
